I dont love alice's design
Dont get me wrong, i like alice's model. The unique take on her witches hat, the dodoco in her hair the teal and red colour combi is fantastic, its a breath of fresh air from the normal red colour pallet for pyro characters! The main thing im disappointed is in her outfit, her dress. Im not by any means saying that its bad or anything but it seems lack luster for the badass sassy playful character she is.
For instance look at "M", durins mom and alice's fellow hexenzirkel mage. Her outfit design encapsulates the writer that she is. Look at the attached image above, she has so many paper motifs! Her hair looks like stacks of paper, there are paper clips on her witch hat and hair. She has feather quills in her hair, in image 2 her dress looks like a book that is lightly ajar! She just SCREAMS a writer and that really is who she is.
In contrast, for someone equally as cool and special as "M", alice design doesnt seem that interesting. Her dress looks boring and very standard, i wished they played more with how the dress looks. Heck even nicoles stands out so much better, the shape isnt too boring iykwim. Alice has so many things tied to her, she maintains teyvats borders, shes an adventurer that made the teyvat travel guide, she made dodoco and shes best girl's klees beloved mama. Her design is so lackluster for the amazing character she is. ( sorry for the glaze, shes just such a loveable character)
Ultimately, ik this isnt the final design and things are subjected to changes. However character designs dont change that much before and after release so idh much hope. Im just a bit let down by her run of the mill dress that is similar to most charcters( e.g lumine (ill show it in the last 2 images). The off shoulder sleeves and the basic dress w tights combi is lowk boring.
