The difference with the Nod-Krai powercreep is that it revived other characters' viability. The new reactions the Lunar characters enable at least made team building fun again.
Mavuika is just... Mavuika. The Natlan meta was just slapping Mavuika with your "main" DPS where she still manages to make the majority of your team's damage, and oh not to mention that she did all this while also breaking the damage ceiling altogether.
Nod-Krai is just fixing the shitshow she started.

Cyno became better with Lunar-charged. Even Raiden and Keqing. Now, with the upcoming Lunar-Crystallize, I can't wait to play Noelle again and Ningguang.
The only disappointing Lunar reaction is bloom. I was really hoping that would be great for Nilou only for it to become a fake reaction.

I'm also excited to use Noelle and Ningguang with Columbina. I really hope their teams are at least strong enough to clear fearless, or at least 9-star floor 12.
I honestly forgot about Cyno. He's the only character I regretted pulling. I actually like his playstyle, but I like him less than Keqing as he's like the less flexible version of her. Everytime I use him, it just makes me want to play Keqing instead.
I didn't really feel LC since I don't have Ineffa/Flins to play around with and almost all LC-related content I see is about them so kinda didn't consider that.
I agree that LBloom is disappointing. It doesn't even do lunar damage. It just added verdant dew that only 2 characters can use (with Columbina being the 3rd). Lauma did improve the bloom teams but ascendant gleam kinda nerfs her for regular bloom teams.

ineffa columbina wheelchair literally does 80% of the team damage. hell, ineffa does almost as much as flins himself in his new best team.
and if you exclude ineffa bina wheelchair then absolutely no one is getting revived. navia is maybe the only one that's able to benefit.
meanwhile any team that mavuika was in as a sub dps she never did more damage than the main dps. in fact if you played her with scroll set she only did like 20% damage

This happens every new region. I remember Raiden being "insanely powerful" and "a must pull", then it was dendro and Nahida, then it was Furina and Neuvillette, then Mavuika, and now Lunar reactions have a new set. Maybe the bar is getting steeper, I don't pay that close of attention, but I do find it funny every time someone complains about the powercreep as if it never happens.

I honestly don't remember Raiden being that powerful. It was mostly her having a strong early con at C2 that was a "gamechanger". C0 Raiden wasn't amazing by herself, national was just that good. The Sucrose or Childe version wasn't that far off IIRC.
Neuvillette on was more of a QoL creep than powercreep. Good DPS with self-sustain, insane AoE, while being braindead to play is just too good. I don't remember C0 Neuvillete being a damage ceiling breaker as I remember him having similar DPS as hyperbloom teams.
There is some level of powercreep pre-Mavuika but it wasn't as huge of a leap. It was bound to happen, but the slope was a bit too steep. People just couldn't say "the powercreep's not that bad" anymore.

not only she's our mouthpiece, she's inconsistent being rude at times for nothing, she's unnatural in her responses (but I think that's an issue with Chinese writing) wowing with normal stuff or being surprised someone is at some place
but the bigger issue still is that she also thinks for us, we don't have the right even to have emotional conversations cause it's the kid talking 95% of the time

A lot of characters *only cared about Traveler*, because they were strong. Notably, Ayaka or Kokomi. They were "oh, you are that amazing powerful guy, help us". Not all the time it was that bad, but again. Paimon would do everything to help Traveler, regardless of anything. When Traveler was gone she was crying, every time.

I think it was during the Sumeru archon quest when the Traveler was missing for a bit and when they got reunited with Paimon and she was so terrified and then relieved, is when I started to really care for her as a character. Also this scene made me emotional too..
