Trying to figure out how my Mavuika does more damage with Kazuha than with Iansan!?!?
Everything I have researched and read over the past few months is that Iansan c6 edges out all other supports for increasing Mavuika’s damage aside from Bennett & Citlali. I’ve been running Mavuika c2 Redhorn, Bennett c6 Mistsplitter, Citlali c2r1, and Iansan c6 Engulfing Lighting for a while now. I’ve been hitting 1.75 million slashes with Mavuika. This is still a work in progress as I’m still trying to improve my characters. I’ve recently acquired Varesa and I really wanted to have her own team with Iansan. I started to do some research on who could replace Iansan for my Mavuika team. I came across Sucrose and Kazuha (I do not have Xilonen) but read that Sucrose is better. When testing Sucrose, she basically net the same amount of damage as Iansan but when I tried my Kazuha, oh boy, 1.9 million slash damage! My Kazuha is c2r1. I played around with team rotations and weapons but this seems to be the most damage I can currently get. The only thing I can think of as the reason for him to surpass Iansan/Mavuika damage is Freedom-Sworn but 125k damage difference in damage with Freedom-Sworn? What do you guys think? If kazuha was c0 , Iansan would be the best option still , more consistent dmg with burst and donuts
So yeah is just the c2 of kazuha being really good for reaction dmg melt in this case
You have to get her signature (Mavuika’s) you get her dmg to 2+ million
Edit : I was wrong , kazuha didn’t ult so his c2 with 200 em didn’t activate, my bad I misremembered about that, look 2nd comment for a better explanation ,lol
Edit : your set , Iansan is using the wrong set , cinder city doesnt stack , use instructor set on her and cinder city on Citlali (Citlali needs more cinder city for energy)
Edit : edit : dont look only at the burst dmg , Iansan gives you dmg to all of your rotation , kazuha doesnt ,his buffs work for short time , you want to buff all the dmg of Mavuika, Iansan is head and shoulders better than kazuha

Just be careful to choose the set with the most attack , because Iansan needs attack , but I see you have c6 Iansan so shouldnt be difficult, just put on a weapon with very high base attack
If you run Iansan with Benett , then you'll get diminishing returns since both of them provide atk and mavuika already got a lot of attack
TLDR: nuke ≠ dps
Also Cinder City doesn't stack, so place her on another buffing set like noblesse and have Bennett on instructor
Also, all people mentioning Kazuha's C2 and suggesting to read his kit surely have some problems reading themselves, cause 200 em buff is only active during burst, which wasn't used.

Res Shred is a beautiful thing, and I refuse to miss pulling Citlali again when she gets out of Cryo Jail in like 3 years... worst time to take a break from Gacha games was when Citlali got a rerun.
I mean so far my team comp for pure power is Arlecchino/Durin/Fischl/Furina. That way I benefit from the Electric Charge and Overload boost from Fischl's Hexerei, and can just unleash with Overload and Vaporize hits. In the end I wanna get Citlali and probably swap out Fischl for Sucrose in my comp once I get more Sucrose cons. Since C0 Sucrose is just depressing lmao
Overall building outside of meta can be fun in my opinion. I got my Mauvika/Bennett/Xilonen/Iansan team comp as well, but I just like experimenting and testing stuff on my own at times well looking at general character recommendations from time to time. If im unsure about what cons are decent for certain characters.
