Another example being the Dragonspine expansion (still counting it as an expansion even if it was only in 1.2). The chests had anemo sigils iirc but the tree was the main new offering system.

You absolutely should count it as one, it was marked as dragonspine on the map since 1.0, same as the chasm, so it's on the same tier. I'd call both an expantion of it's respective region.

Just did dragonspine as a returning player. It didn’t have anemo sigils. Cheney vale did have geo though.

The sigils. Dragonspine has offering system too btw. Its just a wishful thinking in my part.. to have a chance to get lvl up materials on the shop like we had MC constellation from Mond and Liyue

I don't remember offering systems giving lvl100 mats... but it will be a different type of collectible alongside Sigils like other regions that got an expansion after their cycle ended, Chenyu Vale and Chasm have different collectibles, Carps and Lumenstone respectively, you still get sigils just to convert them to mora

There will definitely be an occuli alternative like with most expansions, but idk what they're planning for sigils since they have no value right now. Probably the same system as Nod Krai where you have various key locations here and there with mini-offerings, that's a pretty cool system that was well received since it finally allows for playable characters to appear in the overworld doing their own thing.

I think Liyue’s the chests with Halberd, Tassel and the Skyrider swords. Mond chests usually got meats and fruits (not sure)
