What do you most like about genshin impact. andthe the thing you most hate about it.

For me it's Genshin music and story. but i hate the ships that people make. Literally, they make traveler ships with all the characters, even though the traveler didn't show any romantic feelings with any of them.

I don't think the story telling has changed at all

They still shoved Nefer's whole SQ into the AQ despite it having little relevance. The dialogue is the usual exposition and explanations that take a paragraph to describe what could be said in a sentence. Seems like normal genshin as always.

Yeah, they ship every character, like everyone. i want someone to have a brain and enjoy the story more than shipping everyone. and i hate traveler ships most because they just want to meet their sibling, but people just randomly ship them with every new character.

Somewhat, but the story quality is just another symptom from the main issue. Being a gacha naturally hampers your options as to what you can do, the most obvious ones being no characters being in a romantic relationship, and no characters dying, along with powercreep

Of course, you could also stretch it back further and say the main issue is that chuds would get pissed if their waifu liked someone else other than them or died off and we never saw them again

Like: the story, animations, open world, character designs…
Dislike: I’ll never be able to finish all the content. I still remember when I complained about there being no content after dragonspine’s release, but I’ve been on an endless game of catchup ever since Sumeru released. They really upped their game from that point on… Who knows how many more years of updates the game will keep getting.

What I like: Reminds me of Elden Ring with the boss fights, story, and open world exploration.

What I don't like: A LOT of the fan base is incel gooners so they sexualize female characters, gacha, also gacha.

I love the exploration, music and the story and world building is damn good.

I absolutely hate this game time gating shit for player retention, locking natlan exploration perks and buffs like kinich double swing and Traveler boss locked constellations, etc to that region, people shipping characters instead of leaving it as a friendship and then attacking people who disagree with the ship and teambuilding and artifact grinding being a genuine pain in the ass sometimes.
Also I absolutely love hoyo of decreasing the file size for the PC port but my PC is NOT going to survive the next 5 or 6 patches. Deleting the game is becoming a ticking time bomb at this point and I can't even buy extra storage for cheap right now.

Like - it's a high budget game, polished (few bugs), and is playable for free.

Dislike - my luck is awful in all hoyo games. Da Wei just hates me.
