Since the Columbina 4\* lineup was finally revealed, i could safely fish for some Chevreuse/Iansan/Gaming cons, so here the pulls stats for Xilonen's banner, 50 pulls with 10 pity already in :

Characters :

• Gaming x2
• Chevreuse x1
• Xilonen x1

Weapons (4\*+) :

• Rainslasher x1
• Favonius Sword x1
• The Flute x1

Well, this is bound to happen when going for 4\*, but didn't expect to win an early 50/50 (Wasn't on guaranteed) to Xilonen, yet Iansan still C0, but decided to stop after the second Gaming since any other copy would be beyond C6.
Xilonen is someone i wanted eventually so i'm happy about her, the only downside is that Columbina will come a little later than anticipated. I still have 300 Fates so i'll be fine for now. I will post later in the week with the Columbina pulls, good luck travelers ! o/

I needed to pull (yes, i’m an addict) but couldn’t afford to do it on the banner because I want Columbina more than Varesa and I’m not messing that up. So I did a ten pull on the weapon banner and i got PPS! I had no pity, either! I got PPS last time cause I love Xilonen. I guess I’ll leave it for Chiori. Luckily I have and love Albedo, Chiori, and Xilonen so it will be used. Thankful I didn’t do it on the main banner!

Starting in 6.3 as new player

I am experienced with games like genshin, having played Wuthering waves and HSR. After strafing around a bit I decided to start genshin after watching videos for it to experience it myself. Can you guys recommend which should I pull in this patch?

I am 100% pulling for columbina but apart from her I have no clue about team building and good DPS. So please help me with it. My main character pull requirement is they should be strong so I don't take too much time to get strong

First of all, **welcome to Genshin**!

I actually don't recommend Columbina for a new player. She serves primarily as a secondary support for teams from the latest region. While it is true that the most powerful teams will have her has a critical part of them, I would recommend the other teammates first.

That said, if you are 100% in on Columbina for any other reason, go for her. You can fill in the other characters later...

Unless...

There are four characters coming out in version 6.3. Two of which synchonize (or should syncronize) with Columbina very well: **Ineffa** and **Zibai**.

By most accounts, Columbina + Ineffa will be the most powerful character pairing in the game in 6.3. They are both sub-DPS units that enable each other. Additionally, Ineffa is a support unit who is able to shield your team. Together they can allow you to clear content while playing two other characters of your choice. This is a great opportunity as a new player. The problem is that **Columbina** and **Ineffa** will be on banner at the same time. That banner will remain for about three weeks.

After three weeks, the banners will change to **Zibai** and **Neuvillette**. Zibai is a new main DPS character that is designed with Columbina in mind. They will use a combination of hydro and geo elements to make little turrets to attack enemies.

So you know, Neuvilette is a hydro main DPS character who is very self sufficient. Two years ago he was arguabily the most powerful DPS in the game, especially in combination with another character, Furina.

Finally, for future characters:

**Mavuika** is a power pyro character that works as both a main DPS and a sub-DPS. She was last seen in the summer and will probably get a rerun during the spring. To maximize her, you want another character or two from her country, but she will certainly run with some four star characters from there in her banner.

**Lauma** is a powerful dendro sub-DPS from the new region. She released in September, but could get a rerun any time from next patch through the summer. Given that she works *very* well with Columbina, I suspect we'll see her sooner rather than later.

took the 10 extra rolls I had in Stardust and made a random 10-pull on the weapon banner and managed to score Columbinas, so I'm happy, and still have 55 rolls to start saving for Zibai...

Pity was at zero. I got Venti during his Banner, was saving up for another character far in the future. I love Columbina but wasn't sure how I'd use her on my primarily Anemo and Hydro team. I though, "eh, why not give it 20 pulls. I could use some Fischl cons." (I was lying to myself. I wanted Columbina desperately.)

First pull was normal. Second pull was a 5 star. I held my breath. 10 PITY. I'm on a newer account and have yet to lose a 50/50 out of four limited 5 star characters. That day would not come today as I saw her splash art cover the screen. I was in total shock. The best part? Someone was in my world gathering her materials at that very moment. We celebrated with our frolicking Columbinas together. I have spent every moment since admiring her animations and design, SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL ♡

There is a counter that starts at 1. When you win 50:50 it decrease by one, when you lose 50:50 it increase by one. The minimum is 0, maximum is 3. When you are at 3 your next 50:50 you are guaranteed to get capturing radiance. When you are at two there is some chance. Not sure about other but it's not important for explanation.

When the capturing radiance is triggered it resets back to 1.

The counter only change when you are on 50:50. When you lose 50:50 your next 5* is guaranteed to be limited and doesn't affect capturing radiance at all.

Eg. Let assume you are on 50:50 and your counter is 1

* Win 50:50 get Never, counter = 0

* Lose 50:50 get Mona, counter = 1

* Guarantee get Xilonen, counter = 1

* Lose 50:50 get Diluc, counter = 2

* Guarantee get Varesa, counter = 2

* Win 50:50 get ..., counter = 1

* Lose 50:50 get ..., counter = 2

* Guarantee get ..., counter = 2

* Lose 50:50 get ..., counter = 3

* Guarantee get Flins, counter = 3

* Also guarantee as Capturing radiance will trigger get Columbina

I really wish newer 4-star characters get more drop-rate boosts compared to older 4-star characters and 4-star characters you can get from the shop.

Yeah i'm fkin done. I'm going F2P. Went to hard pity for both Bina and Ineffa lost both 50/50 and went hard pity again. Before that lost 2 50/50 in row and hit radiance when trying to get C2 Chasca. Sorry for the rant but i am frustrated and 0 will to spend after seeing ugly side of gatcha.

Considering 2 lost 50/50 i guess at least next should be guaranteed radiance? So at least should be able to get Nicole.

But yeah not spending single penny until i will get early 5 star and win 50/50.

I have Ineffa and Aino only for Nod Krai chars. The trial Columbina/Ineffa alone destroyed the enemy doing nothing. I've heard she's only good on NodKrai teams, but also maybe not?

I have 13 Intertwined Fates, 44,019 Primos, and I think 60 pulls and haven't hit 50/50 yet (I tried for Jahoda but didn't want to risk pulling Durin).

Also atm I'm very very much planning to grab Varka. No thoughts on Zibai (haven't looked into her at all) so not sure if I should keep saving or not?

Terms of 5\* Hydro I already have Furina and Mualini and I use Furina a lot if that also helps

The way my account is rigged to lose every 50/50 is ridiculous... I lost to Dehya at 79 pulls and got Lauma again at 79... Lost on Nefer's banner to Mona, I had to go to hard pity to get her... I got saved by capturing radiance on Columbina's banner, and promptly lost again on Ineffa's, getting Mona's C4.

At least I have Columbina...

Did 10 pulls on Inefa and weapon but not luck, now with 8k primos I have to think what I should do, weapon is tempting but I think I should save for next character (now when I think about it, going for Durin weapon was probably mistake).

Apparently I had capturing radiance, and I was wishing for Ineffa since I already grabbed cor1 Columbina.....

I didn't pay attention to what banner I was on and now I own c1r1 Columbina. This IS nice but I did start getting my hopes up for an Ineffa unfortunately ;-; Even worse is me sitting there a few minutes beforehand going "make sure to check I'm on Ineffa's!"
I'll keep throwing primos at it and see what happens.

Tried getting Ineffa… lost to a C1 Dehya. Truth be told, I expected this to happen. After I got my first Capturing Radiance for Durin last patch, I figured I’d probably lose the 50/50. This makes it the second time I lost the 50/50 for Ineffa.

Problem is, I liked columbinas aesthetics... Like her singing during NAs, walking and jumping animations... Other than that I don't like her much. I also have 0 NK characters and don't plan on getting them either, unless absolutely necessary. I have nefers weapon tho... Its eating dust
