What are your expectations for The Tsaritsa?

If the Tsaritsa's JP VA is gonna be Sumire Uesaka, then I will sell my car just to C6R5 her when she becomes playable. Considering Sumipe is fluent in Russian and Snezhnaya is obviously inspired by Russia, it would be a chef's kiss to cast her to voice Her Majesty.

I just wanna see the best girl Bronya in all of her glory

TechnicallyHankHill2026-01-11 11:36

I want a very intricate and completed design. I want a very long dress.

Also I want her to be able to walk on water via automatically generated ice bridge with each step, maybe after casting an elemental skill. Completely powercreep Furina.

im expecting a romantic story like none that has come before

suzumaki7422026-01-11 11:46

Oh god.... Not again...

Although If I can see the traveler crashout like Phainon, it's worth it....

ppppppppppmeister2026-01-11 11:43

Going to eat up all my storage

Avareeses2026-01-11 11:44

Passive ice bridge. Like furina's ability to walk on water but hers is just turning it to ice

Mrsunny071122026-01-11 11:46

No controversies in fandom.

BlenderEasy2026-01-11 11:46

No expectations. Most likely skip of the whole region. Will use primos to strengthen or pick up previous characters.

hraberuka2026-01-11 11:50

My expectation is that she is gonna be different than her "fans" headcanon her, maybe she will drive mecha in combat, most likely very kind soul deep inside cold exterior

einUbermensch2026-01-11 13:10

...well shite. Now I want her to actually pilot a mecha. This is your fault!

Obvious-Childhood9102026-01-11 11:57

I doubt there is a need for Russian because there would be little to no use of Russian in-game. Maybe a small song or two of outside content but that'll be about it

Even the names in Snezhnaya (supposedly Russian) would be spoken in a very JP accent, so there would be no need of russian knowledge in that as well

But, Sumipe will probably nail the shit out of the role anyways lol. She's too good

Ryuunoru2026-01-11 12:01

I expect her to have Cryo abilities

KineticKurt2026-01-11 12:04

I hope she is a stoic cold hearted intimidating character that is reminiscent when we first met the Electro Archon, which due from a tragic past trauma that turned the God of Love into a Leader who even recruits former Khanrians to rebel against Celestia, and I sure hope she doesn't simp & goon for the Traveler; honestly, I'm not sure why I should get my hopes on expectations up when my expectations on the Pyro Archon were shattered when they made her into a chill latex/leather suit wearing biker lady than an aggressive ill-tempered Amazonian gal with muscles riding a dragon, or just a Dragonkin Lady that has dragon form

ZargothraxTheLord2026-01-11 12:37

None. No expectations = no disappointment. She might as well be Danny DeVito, I'll still like it.

ArgonianWhoSeekGod2026-01-11 13:03

Traveler goes to her throne just to meet with Doctor Who

Neleothesze2026-01-11 12:43

Story-wise, I expect Hoyo will whitewash all the harm her Harbingers have caused because the Tsaritsa needed the power of all gnoses combined to save the planet or w/e. (Hopefully with a more compelling sob story than Raiden's.)
Gameplay-wise, a cryo sub-dps that can mesh well with at least 2/3 of her Harbingers. And what probably won't happen but would be nice to see: a kit that shines in a full archon team.

BandicootFar41262026-01-11 13:20

Pierro will take the bad role for sure, but joke aside, maybe he truly manipulated her for his own vengeance schemes.

noellesimp1012026-01-11 12:55

Bronya

JiMyeong2026-01-11 13:00

Hoping she isnt a medium female model, but the chances are very high that she is...

Chonospeira2026-01-11 13:00

Bronya, hopefully with the GI version of her Seele.

Plus-Theme-32832026-01-11 13:05

Nothing, we don't have enough for her to expect anything, but my only wish that she is not a honkai expy or at the very least to look different enough, like mavuika for example

Frosty-Soil16562026-01-11 13:09

I’m expecting an adult model. Not a child or teenager hoyo…

BandicootFar41262026-01-11 13:18

Now you are saying that, she must be voiced by Sumipe

Aggressive_Sir_67362026-01-11 13:26

I learned to not expect anything from developers and the company who releases the games. It was painful cycle of disappointment. I only trust what I truly experienced myself.

GraveXNull2026-01-13 08:48

Expecting? A cold hearted ruler that challenges Travelers morality and ideals.

Reality? She gonna be some poor waifu with a sob story and will connect with the Traveler.
