HELP can't complete endgame after come back

I played all the way till sumeru and took a long break. Now I don't get even close to complete 36 * abyss or Stygian.
I used to play ganyu melt and rational with kazuha but those are effectively dead comps. Now I use hyperbloom with kokomi(driver)+Kiku+lauma+flex which kind of works but kokomi is not an ideal driver and I don't have a better one afaik.
I also recently got durin, xilonen and varesa while trying to get chev constellations and I'm currently working on building a hex vape with durin as main DPS and an overload with varesa,durin,chev,iansan/fisch.

My only real carry DPS is varesa so I was thinking on maybe getting Columbina for the hyperbloom as a driver or neuvillete to build a team around him with furina+xilonen.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Youre going to want to just pick up ineffa/bina if you want to work towards engame content as them 2 together will be able to wheelchair 90% of old dps to clear fearless/abyss 12 etc.

Lauma herself is actually a great on-field driver for hyperbloom. Unless you really love Kokomi, I would recommend Lauma, xingqiu, kuki, nahida/kokomi/furina with lauma onfield. Lauma doesn’t have that frequent off-field dendro, so without her on-field, you really aren’t making that many blooms unless you have a second dendro. Alternatively if you really want to use kokomi as a driver, maybe swap furina for nahida so that you have more dendro to make consistent blooms, but that may not be as strong. most of the damage is probably coming from blooms and lauma quills anyway so furina’s dmg bonus probably won’t be too much of a loss.

Your varesa team is good. If you are struggling on that team, just work on your builds, level talents, etc.

For the durin team, if you are using him as the onfield driver with c6 bennet infusion, switching kazuha for furina might help. I am assuming rn, you have a way to double swirl hydro and pyro and the majority of the hydro app is from kazuha’s burst. This team seems somewhat difficult to pilot managing your swirls and ensuring you stay in bennet circle for durin’s CAs, but seems like it should work fine. Alternatively, if you want something easier, your mona would also be a good on-field driver for durin since she is c2, so you could run mona on-field then durin, furina, xilonen with durin vaping his hits in dark mode from off-field which is still pretty decent I believe.

if you were to get only one of these characters, in your case I would recommend getting columbina as a main dps for your lauma team. note that most of the damage will come from her CAs using the flat dmg buff from charges of lauma’s burst instead of the blooms themselves though, but it should be a solid upgrade. if you want to get flins later though, Ineffa would be priority. bina and ineffa work great together though so getting both isn’t a bad idea, although that’s a lot of pulls potentially.

Thanks for the tips, my only worry with Bina as driver is I don't know if there will be enough verdant dew for her CA and Lauma's E and if I run Columbina with her set, lauma would have to run silken, and I'd need to use nahida to use deepwood. You reckon Columbina would have enough hydro application? Not even sure if her CA applies hydro with the lunar bloom.

columbina adds 3 extra max verdant dew to play with from one of her passives so idt that would be an issue. honestly early calcs show the team as more of a columbina hypercarry than a traditional bloom team where most of the damage comes from her CAs and you get some bloom damage passively just because that’s the way the elements work out since she really needs lauma’s burst to buff her CAs. for that reason nahida isn’t even necessarily best here and since she doesn’t buff lauma’s EM to stregnthen her burst. someone like sucrose may be better even if you can’t swirl all the time just for a teamwide EM buff. her CA doesn’t apply hydro, but her NA’s and skill still do, so I imagine her optimal combo will probably involve weaving in some NAs and maybe a cancel into a CA. I have seen 6[N2CA] as a possible combo for her, but not 100% sure.

More concrete info will definitely be available once she’s actually out, so I would just look up some youtube videos for her when she comes out to make sure you like her. Lauma hyperbloom is still a perfectly servicable team by itself if she is the onfield driver, so I wouldn’t feel pressured to get columbina specifically. Take a look at some of the other characters that have come out that you may like more and go for them. The neuvilette team that you mentioned before would also probably be pretty solid on your account and not really double up on supports from your other teams.
