I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me

No way lmao?? A Genshin character inspired by Bohemian Rhapsody is the funniest crossover I never expected. Now I’m gonna hear Freddy Mercury every time I log in

When I watched Wanderer's teaser animation I was all emotional until the line "I wish I'd never been born at all" completely took me out of it. You can't just hit me with Bohemian Rhapsody in the middle of an emotional video, man.

I can’t believe I missed that. That is WILD.

That teaser was also released on the anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody

Are we just going to ignore the vibrator cereal
Gregamonster2026-01-12 03:10
I doubt it was the kind of vibrator you're thinking.

This is the third Genshin-related trivia item that’s been featured on Wikipedia, the last one I remember was about Furina

What nonsense is this? What part of his character is in any way linked to Rhapsody? And yes, the link is to Scaramouche (Wanderer). Like all the Fatui, Scaramouche was named and inspired by the Commedia dell’arte character (Scaramuccia), which the song also references, but the name was clearly from the Commedia.
ChaZcaTriX2026-01-12 05:56
Song and game both reference the same character, yes. But quite a few things are too deliberate to be coincidental.
His theme is "Ominous Fandango"
> Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
His update as the Wanderer is "Any Way the Wind Blows"
> Any way the wind blows (Ooh, the wind blows)
And there's also
> Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me!
