It can happen to everyone! You can test it at Dragonspine by pressing burst right before they hit 0 HP.

It usually just happens to arlecchino because she can't heal from external sources. She only wants her own burst. Normally with characters like mavuika, she's healing from benny's circle so the hp doesn't really go down.
Arlecchino? She does not heal from benny's circle. If you decide to burst while at probably 5 hp, you'll most likely get the death animation and burst animation at the same time.

I-frames too. Arlecchino doesn't get i-frames almost immediately after bursting. Only a little later

Healing is part of the problem. She's always sitting on benny's circle so the hp should not go down. It's her healing characteristic and iframes that make her like this.

boss is definitely not the worse. You don't even have to dps race it if you can't. Just when it gets to that phase where it takes on the element that does the most dps make sure its whatever element is weakest for your group.

When Arlecchino was first released people were convinced this was a bug specific to her, but it can happen to any character. Arlecchino is simply more likely to have this happen than anyone else because the only reason you'd click her burst under normal circumstances is if you're about to die, so getting tagged right as you burst and dying is proportionally a *lot* more common with her.
