I'm also looking for a rock, paper and scissors tie list.

While there is no such thing as a tier list that everyone will agree with, I do think that the one Jello Impact made is quite competent. He updates it each version as well: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fs80bK4ME__JuC9DfCH_gUO1MAuopZYANJF1agzhgHs/edit?gid=1050649242#gid=1050649242
And if you want a guide equivalent for Prydwen, that's KQM: https://keqingmains.com/
Berry_Sprout2026-01-11 15:31
Jellos great but even they have lots of issues, self admitted some as well. So even with that look into things don't assume :(
Bierzgal2026-01-11 16:15
That's because tier lists are flawed and subjective by nature. Especially in Genshin when it's better to compare teams instead of singular characters. I think people trust them bit too much. But as far as lists go, Jello's is alright. And we can at least listen to his reasoning in the videos about them.

Exactly : ^)

I see. So is there a team tier list or a a list of teams in general? Because I really want a pro source like Prydwen for zzz
Bierzgal2026-01-11 18:31
The same google chart I linked has a ranking of teams by DPS in the next tab. The guy that made it updates it regularly. It's already set for 6.3 for next week.
Budget-Ninja-2372026-01-11 18:46
Got it. Thank you so much🙏🙏
Berry_Sprout2026-01-11 20:31
Keqingmains.com is are main pro source of you want
Ecchify2026-01-11 14:53
just refer to tier lists made by theorycrafters if you really have to; although tier lists on their own don't mean a whole lot for individual accounts
FruitNo6312026-01-11 15:15
I think character tier list is a bit inaccurate in a way because the top tier characters heavily rely on the full team composition. For example, Skirk without Furina and Escoffier is an A, Skirk with Escoffier and Furina is SS.

Tier lists are pointless.

Here's the issue with Genshin Tier Lists.
1 - Genshin is a Team Based Game. A Character's performance will vary significantly based on the other 3 Characters you have. Nefer, for example, performs very differently with Lauma.
2 - Most Tierlists use a "baseline" standard for investment, when some characters scale *much* higher with investment. You could have two "equal on paper" characters, but if you give them both better artifacts, Character A may scale better than Character B.
3 - Content Shill had become increasingly prevalent. Again, two characters can appear equal on paper, but the content can wildly favor one over the other because Hoyoverse has banners they want to sell.
4 - Even characters who are *generally accepted* as good and fluffed endlessly on tier lists may have little to no value for you. You'll see people tripping all over themselves to praise Bennett, but he's not featured on a single Nod Krai Team (currently the strongest Teams in the game).
5 - "Wheelchair Comps" have basically overtaken the Meta in Nod Krai. You could have an older character who struggled to hit 75k DPS on their best Team. Now, just put Columbina and Ineffa together, then slap on an old character with a relevant Support, and you'll be at 100k. That used to be considered "Tier 1" damage for a Team, and now almost everyone has access to it.

Others have said it but may I add more to what others have said
Genshin tiers sadly suck. The way the game works is almost rock paper scissors in the fact that who's S tier and who's F tier depends on the team and enemies you fight. So it ends up very hard to rank them.
A better thing is to look up who's good for current endgame and go from there. Or find a character you like and build a team around them.
Now this doesn't mean there isn't a meta. Characters like mavuika, Tao, flins, nefer, skirk, varesa, zibai, durin, venti, razor, gaming all have very high strengths. But you don't like pull two of the, you find one you like and build there team. Mav would want citlani, flins columbia, ext.
Oh and game8 is often considered the worst. They genuinely just guess, like they haven't hid that.

This may be a hot take, but I don't think there CAN be one.
Besides the fact that there are 100+ playable characters, the use of each character can vary greatly depending on weapon and artifact set. While some characters would no doubt have higher power level, others would fit in more teams, some just have a weird niche and would suddenly jump up in popularity (e.g. Amber vs ice shield). The most you can do is follow character and team usage rates.
Personally I think building teams according to guides is like not playing half the game. The closest analogy would be like playing Elden Ring with only Moonveil.

Honestly game8 is… okayish, but kinda inconsistent. If you want something closer to Prydwens style, try Honey Hunter or maybe KeqingMains guides. They’re way more detailed and don’t just throw random S tiers
Budget-Ninja-2372026-01-11 17:31
I see what yall are saying... So is there a team rating site like meta? Because I've once seen a web where someone ranked as a number 1 jean in global
Ikses2026-01-11 19:05
its honestly just genshin players cryptonite
back in 1.0 people shamed tierlists coz it put their favorite characters low or undervalue some unexplored characters at the time and since then people dont do tierlist to not hurt anyone feelings
