Ineffa or Columbina first?

I made a spreadsheet and everything, basically, if I don’t spend any money and keep grinding Primogems, I can only guarantee that I get one of them. So long as I don’t get very very very unlucky, I should be able to get them both, but it’s still risky (I have to win 1 of the 50/50s). I’m also working on a Jahoda DPS team for the funnies, and Ineffa would be better for that, because Aino can help with a budget Lunar Charged team. However Jahoda DPS isn’t the only thing I care about, a Columbina DPS team will also be great for Spiral Abyss (since I’m just meta slaving that lmao). Just in case I don’t get both, who should I prioritize first?

Nope. I’m a relatively new player. My only 5 stars are Keqing from the free, Varesa, and DILUC because he ruined my Varesa 50/50.

Ineffa can enhance Filn’s circulation and survival. Columbina can’t. Even they’re both deal damage without on the field.

If you don't have any nod krai dpses then go for ineffa or it depends but I would suggest you to go for ineffa as columbina will get a rerun sooner since she is the archon equivalent of nod krai

Do you have Lauma? I think she's pretty integral to Columbina DPS

I have Ineffa and she fits in a lot of teams, but without lunar shill she's just another fischl.

I'd probably go for Ineffa first since you want to run Jahoda dps and in the end you should get who you enjoy or who enables your fun. Hopefully then you can still get Columbina.

From a meta perspective, Ineffa is much more valuable than Columbina without other Nod Krai 5 stars. Columbina DPS without Lauma really isn’t great. Columbina’s power is in elevating other Nod Krai 5 star units, and she’s cracked out of her mind at that, but if you don’t have those units, she’s just okay. Without other Nod Krai 5 stars, she’s just a decent hydro sub dps, a role in which she’s outclassed by other options which provide, in addition to off field damage, either faster elemental application (XQ/Yelan) or buffing (Furina).

Ineffa, meanwhile, doesn’t need any other pieces to deal significant off field damage with minimal field time *and* is a sustain on top of that (she provides you a pretty chunky shield). Her only team building requirement is that you have a hydro unit; does’t have to be a Nod Krai hydro unit or even a 5 star. You can slot her pretty much anywhere and she’ll be better at most lunar checks than a solo lunar 5 star Columbina.

as someone who pulled columbina with no NK 5* at all

I feel like Furina is still better as an off field hydro dps

cause Mavuika's off field skill feels like it reaches more distance than columbina's skill

I dunno , I feel like my expectation of her and the lunar reaction fell off after realizing she is like what you said, good, but without the other NK she really felt... average

if you meta slave then columbina zibai is a much better choice than debating about ineffa. columbina or ineffa by themselves won't make a passable to team to clear dire. If you want to only pull 1 5 star then get neither. If you are ok with pulling 2 5 stars then make a zibai columbina illuga team which is meta

your other options are to pull columbina and wait for lauma rerun and play columbina on field (or additionally pull nefer), or pull ineffa and then wait for flins (or additionally pull columbina), but reruns in this game are inconsistent so i don't recommend it over zibai

Columbina will likely rerun again sooner than Ineffa will, since this is already a rerun for Ineffa. So, I'd say go for Ineffa first.

If you're just gonna get one, I'd grab Columbina since she's more versatile and enables all three lunar reactions (vs Ineffa's one).

If you're eventually gonna get both, start with Ineffa since she may not rerun again for a while.

I know Columbina enables all reactions but the thing is…I can’t trigger any of them. I don’t have Nod Krai characters besides Jahoda right now. Technically Aino too, but I do need a Nod Krai Electro/Geo/Dendro to trigger them, right.

She single-handedly enables all lunar reactions, no need for another NK character to trigger.

That said, you will want a second NK character on the team for the moon buff. But you will eventually get a second NK character, whether it's Zibai or someone else -- and when you do, better to have a versatile support like Columbina than being locked to electrocharge with Ineffa. (Unless you already know you specifically want Flins, in which case Ineffa is good for Flins specifically.)

Nope.

Flins and Ineffa enable lunar charge, Nefer and Lauma enable lunar bloom, Zibai enables lunar crystalize, and Columbina enables all three -- which is what makes her such a good get.

I own C1 Flins, C1 Lauma and C0 Nefer. I'm personally grabbing Columbina cuz she's wife. But if I win one 50/50 then I can get both and that'll be my goal. Flins will be my strongest DPS if this happens...
