I wonder if I screwed up by just unlocking this...

My memory is too bad to follow a plot with too much downtime in between, so I've been binging the chapter 6 quests and just unlocked this. is there actual story and lore locked behind this? and if so how long is it going to take me to catch up?? did I screw up by banking story quests?

You can advance it once every seven days. This is exactly seven days from the last time you did one, not every Monday. It doesn't contain any major story or lore yet, they're just short anecdotes with Columbina that tell you a bit about her and occasionally feature other characters. You will complete them all eventually, you haven't permanently "missed" anything. Right now, I think most people are at the end of the second one, so about 12 weeks in.

Do note that, in addition to what the others have said, starting the most recent chapter of Nod-Krai update locks you out of continuing these. We’re not sure yet if they will unlock in the upcoming one.
