World Traveling Question?

I just finished catching up with the AQs after a long time of not playing and I have a question about the spaceship thing!!! If the abyss twin woke the traveller up so they could leave the world together, why are they in celestia (?) at the beginning of the game and not inside their spaceship? Why leave the spaceship if that’s what they use to travel words?

1. It's not known whether or not they were in Celestia or just somewhere that resembled what we know of it.
2. The spaceship was likely either too damaged or, since they were in a rush, too slow to boot up and use to escape Teyvat.

In the newest quest we learn the spaceship has been here since hyperborean era, that's at least a few thousand of year. I doubt the spaceship is still perfectly usable after that amount of time.

This is a question we do not yet have the answer to.

It's worth noting, however, that their opponent was the Shade of Space. She might have teleported them there in order to confront them.

Alternately, maybe the spaceship was broken, and they were forced to travel without it. It's possible that they have the power to travel through space unaided, but prefer to use a spaceship since it's more comfortable and convenient. (Just like you have the power to walk from city to city, but it's way preferable to do so by car.)
