Genshin disconnecting WiFi whenever I open it
So I started having this problem around.. mid to late December? I think? Patch is still 6.2 as of this post. Anyways the gist is that the internet from my PC seems to completely shut down whenever Genshin’s running. The methods I’ve tried to fix this include:
\- Repairing game files via the launcher
\- Deleting and reinstalling the game (and because of this I can’t even sign in anymore)
\- Updating drivers
\- Restarting PC
\- Disabled power saving on the network adapter
Should also mention that the game runs just fine on my phone—it’s just my PC having this issue. Any ideas on how to fix this would be very much appreciated!

After trying everything you did to no avail, I figured maybe my PC was the problem. So I unplugged all my components from the PSU and carefully plugged everything in, making sure everything was where it needed to be.
And then the problem went away. So, I guess try rewiring your PC. Make sure cpu is plugged into the cpu part of the psu, gpu to the gpu part, sata stuff to the sata part, etc.
i have to use my phone if i want a stable connection.
eventually it fixes itself after im upgrading to windows 11.
try connecting to your smartphone hotspot
Try a usb wifi adapter, those can be had for a few bucks.
the sure-fire way to figure out if it's a hardware or software issue: clean install of Win11, without installing crapware.
But everything that's supposed to make the PC / Windows better, cleaner, faster, more secure, more up-to date and the like is crapware that does the exact opposite of what it promises.
Everything one needs is already included in Windows since 8.1, Microsoft knows it's stuff just a bit better than e.g. the Antivirus devs.
