The development team will begin update maintenance on 2026/01/14 06:00 (UTC+8). Once maintenance is complete, the game will be updated to the all-new Version "Luna IV": Song of the Welkin Moon: Postlude — "A Traveler on a Winter's Night."
At the same time, pre-installation for Version "Luna IV" is now available. Travelers can download part of the update resources in advance to enjoy faster access once the version update goes live.

My brain is scrambled after a night shift, can someone tell me whether UTC +8 = 8am GMT or not? Update usually starts at 10pm GMT, but I can't for the life of me make this one out for some reason

I despise this method of keeping time. Nothing about it converts to a different time zone.

I am once again asking you all if you dont wanna get spoiled just mute/block anything genshin related on Twitter and Youtube.
At this rate just hide under a rock or get flashbanged with datamined content

I am just excited for the 300 maintenance primogems towards my columbina funds.

Half the stuff on YouTube is just bullshit. Any YouTube channel that is named after genshin or a genshin character isn’t even leaks it’s just unsubstantiated speculation and primogem baiting.
The other half. Totally leaks lol

67GB on PS5, that's a lot of space

They really want ps4 out.

11GB for the Xbox version. A lot smaller than I expected but I welcome it.

9GB on PC...well the optimisation for the voiceover files seems good...
PSCutie2026-01-13 20:09
How long does maintenance typically take?
IOmitPissAndShit2026-01-13 21:34
usually 5 hours, equating to 300 primos (60/hr) plus the usual 300 primos they give as an apology/bugfix type thing. Sometimes the patch releases early, ive certainly gotten in at 1030 pm EST before, but dont count on it
