HOW DO YALL DO DIRE WITH C0 CHARACTERS I GIVE UP😭

PLS IVE BEEN TRYING TO CLEAR DIRE FOR A LOOONG TIME BUT NONE OF MY TEAMS WORK… The second phase is easy with Jean cheese but first and third kills me especially the first. Any suggestions is welcomed!!!

afaik, the only teams who can clear the first boss at c0 are nefer and skirk (i did it with skirk myself). for the third boss alot of dps work, even gaming with only 4 stars works, you just have to get the mechanics done.

Seriously don't even bother. It's literally a model not made for us. It's made for whales and people with more time than sense. It is made by an actively hostile corporation who loathes you for not spending all your money on this game. Just get the pull currency and leave. It's disgusting.

It's just a temporary skin that you're missing, It's not that big of a deal, fearless gives all the meaningful rewards already, no need to be so salty about it...
It's a game, the main objective is to have fun, no one is forcing you to clear dire

The number of people responding who I want talking to and who talk about how it's just weapon skins when that's my point. OP shouldn't be so stressed about clearing and should understand it's literally a mode not made for us and that the devs actively hate people like OP even trying. Better to just get what you can and move into something actually fun instead of OP stressing and freaking out that they can't clear with their roster.

like yeah hoyo are greedy and want your money, they make gacha games for a living, but this is not one of those times. all you get are weapon skins. thats not "loathing you for not spending all your money" and its not "disgusting".

You are right in that it is a challenge made for people with higher investment in the game, but considering the sole reward is a limited cosmetic, I think it says a lot more about you that you are personally seething so much over not feeling included even when menacing and fearless exist along with the entire rest of the game’s content. Basically, you are probably lacking more sense than you think.

when people say c0 its not just a random c0, it can be c0r1 and its always the same proper c0 5-star pairings, with and without c6 4-star characters. for example:

1. c0 skirk, must have ESCOFFIER, FURINA, SHENHE/CITLALI. cant do a c0 skirk dire run without them.
2. c0 varesa, must have C6 IANSAN, CHEVREUSE. cant do a c0 varesa dire run without them.

and the artifacts + talent levels are usually maxed

With C2 Furina and C1 Escoffier where both of them give huge damage boost.

Can be done with c4 Iansan (might as well be c2). My Varesa also doesnt have her sig

Either Chev/Iansan has to be c6 though (my Chev is c6).

Dire is not tuned for C0R0 investment. It's tuned to incentivize paying for constellations and weapons and pulling the latest characters. It takes an insane level of optimization to clear at C0 and even then it depends on having ideal circumstances, the right characters, perfect RNG, etc.

As people said, Dire with c0 is a challenge even if you have every character in game with top 1% builds and signature weapons.

So to even have a chance to clear at c0 you need

1. Perfect team, usually premium meta with latest characters

2. R1 on everyone

3. Very good builds on everyone, with right ER tuning, high CV on DPS/SUBDPS, and everything else

4. Quite a lot of skill and knowledge

There is sometimes one cheesable boss with Jean, Zhongli or something like that, but even that required right characters and execution

I have multiple characters with high cons(furina yelan C6 mavuika c5r1esco c1 xilo C2 nahida C2) and I never try dire. Needs good skill even for Dire 1, not happening. I ll take my feather and go off.

Boss 1: That team breaks the shield fast and hyperbloom deals pretty good damage for fearless.

Boss 2: Jean cheese

Boss 3: Mualani can just bruteforce that boss, atleast in fearless. You need C2 for dire.

Fearless is actually comfortably doable with these teams (with some skill and good builds).

Iktomisaur is easily cheesable. Baptist has very low HP (5 million in fearless) so you’re mainly focusing on breaking his shields fast. Mualani is strong enough to clear Field Generator in Fearless no problem (I’ve seen video clears of it).

Well, if you needs 311 seconds to clear fearless, you just don't have enough dps to do dire. Dire has almost twice HP of fearless.

You play Genshin like you're a professional esports Genshin player, and have perfect builds and the exact right teams, or you don't.

Dire is the blatantly P2W mode.

You need very specific characters and a boatload of skill.

The only one that is cheesable in Dire is the Iktomisaur; you can use Jean/Zhongli/Amber to kill it with fall dmg.

The Baptist really wants Nefer or Skirk. Regular HB (especially without Lauma) is just not cutting it in Dire. Pretty sure you simply don’t have the DPS required to take it down when you factor in the shield phases.

The field generator is technically beatable with C0 Mualani, but you need a really good build and have excellent rotations. You’re also not really taking advantage of the massive ATK buff the boss gives for jumping up high. Varesa is the main shill here but Mavuika melt ofc works. Skirk can brute force it too but it’s close.
