Best Nod-Krai DPS for my account

My next 2 5 stars are guaranteed and I have enough saved up that I should also be able to get a third one next patch. I want to get a Lunar DPS and I'm debating between Flins and Zibai. I've ruled out Nefer since she is only around 1k DPS less than Flins at the cost of going sustain less which does not seem like a good tradeoff.

I will only pull C0R0 for any units.

If I go for Flins, I would get Columbia and Ineffa now and Flins should rerun pretty soon. I already have a C0 Sucrose.

If I go for Zibai, I will also get Columbina this patch. I would get Illuga on Zibai's banner and get some more cons for my C2 Gorou for the fourth slot.

My previous plan was to get Neuvilette. So I got all his previous BiS supports, Kazuha, Furina and Xilonen which I now regret since Neuvi just can't compete with the top DPSs anymore. But I could also go for Neuvilette to get more Illuga and Gorou cons for Zibai if I go this route.

My main concern is that Flins team would be 3 cost but Zibai would only be 2 cost so that seems cheaper.

Would Flins or Zibai be better for me?

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about the wheelchair. Either way I'm getting Columbina. So I'm effectively comparing Flins + Ineffa vs Zibai. From my understanding, c6 Illuga is necessary for Zibai to come with the Flins team and if I have to get that I might as well add Neuvillette to the right side of that equation (and that still doesn't guarantee c6 Illuga) and then the Flins team has a pretty clear advantage.

I could try to get Illuga cons on a rerun but given how niche he is I don't expect to see him on future banners I would normally pull for.

If you have them, Xilonen + Furina paired with Zibai and Columbina are just a little bit behind than C6 Gorou + C6 Illuga.

*In the same way, if I'm not wrong I think running Kuki with Nefer doesn't really lowers the team DPS that much.*

But honestly I would recommend you to go for the one that has the gameplay you like the most between them. At the end of the day, both teams are very close in terms of DPS and it's not going to make a significant difference in terms of performance.

I have seen the calcs for the Furina Xilonen team. I'd prefer to use Xilonen on my Mavuika team right now since my Iansan doesn't have any cons. From what I remember though, that team still underperforms Flins a bit. I thought Kuki instead of Nahida dropped DPS considerably though unless I'm misremembering. I know the difference between them is pretty small, so I guess I should consider the gameplay more. Plus gameplay wise, Nefer dash cancels are harder than Flins combos. Zibai also doesn't have great sustain so overall gameplay wise, I'm leaning Flins. Plus Flins is more resistant to combo disruptions since most of his DPS is concentrated and the mini bursts and a lot of the dmg is off-field from Ineffa so I can't really mess up too much with skill issue lol.

You can go for columbina and zibai you will get whole team in zibai banner so.

The Flins team is also running pretty close together, so I'm more concerned with the performance of the team for the cost since they're both about as easy to complete for me.

Yeah you need columbina and zibai and the 4 star illuga to get a good team and has pretty high numbers. You also can use furina xilonen with zibai if they are available.

For flins you need ineffa columbina and flins to get. Ineffa columbina core is strong for this team.

They both hover around same level of dps with 5k difference. Zibai 2 cost team with a c6 4 star. Flins 3 cost team with sucrose. You can decide based on your preference.

There is not a "need" for a nod krai dps imo
Off course they are much better once you have every piece in puzzle but still not something I would consider necessary
Ineffa/Lauma + Columbina is really good on its own as a duo

Although Zibai is gonna be the cheapest considering she don't have a specialized 5 star support like Ineffa/Lauma for Flins/Nefer
Non C6 Illuga do lose you around 10-12k total dps I think but the team is still very much usable
If you like her playstyle get her otherwise I would just suggest Ineffa + Columbina for next patch
We don't know when Lauma/Nefer coming back but I did heard about a Flins rerun along with Varka debut but again he is not that necessary just use them in trial and make a decision to go or not

Well. I currently only have 1 real DPS (Mavuika) so I can't even clear abyss. So my first priority is getting another non-pyro DPS (preferably an on field one). Since Non krai ones are currently at the top of the meta and they satisfy a gimmick for shilling it seems like an obvious choice. So I'm definitely going to get either Flins or Zibai. I think getting Flins' team might be cheaper for me since C6 Illuga is not easy.

If you can manage to get all these 3 5stars - Columbina - Ineffa and then later Flins then yeah it would be much better..
Do consider the playstyle before pulling coz yeah Zibai doesn't have similar team dps as Flins if you don't have C6 Illuga but it is still a good team regardless and should be enough for Abyss too.. and I mean this is pretty much expected from a 2 Cost team ig..
Again try getting the one you prefer using for most part

I personally am going for Columbina and Zibai coz I personally her playstyle the best out of all NK Dps regardless of whether I get Illuga C6 or not
I do have Lauma so I could use Columbina in two teams anyway never getting Nefer though

What do you mean about nefer? I run her with kokomi but maybe thats lowering damage compared to flins

Yep, at 3 cost Nefer + Lauma + Columbina + Sustain is lower DPS than Flins, Ineffa, Columbina, Sucrose.

Ofc this is with standard disclaimers about Kqm standards and how higher artifact investment may change things especially when comparing DPSs that contribute different percentages of the teams damage etc.

I feel like flins is better than zibai since you don't need to worry about c6 illuga. It takes about 300 pulls on average to get a c6 4 star. Also ineffa is really good on her own too so if there's endgame that needs nod krai on both sides you can split up flins and ineffa.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Flins now. Hopefully, the wheelchair is good for future DPSs too once Flins starts aging.

You would need c6 gorou and c6 illuga + columbina+ zibai for zibai to be a bit worse than flins ( 4-5k dps ) . C6 illuga means than you will get C2 zibai befrore than c6 illuga somewhat same with gorou . I think you should get ineffa next patch if your aino is c6 by then since you already have c4 then just pull flins on his rerun and skip columbina. But if you like neuvillete more than anything you should get him he will not be as good as flins but you should prioritise your favourite tbh . For reference it takes around 270 pulls to get a c6 four star it is not easy at all .

Why would I skip Columbina though? I can get all 3 and Aino is on Zibai's banner which I won't pull on if I'm going for Flins. I don't really care about Neuvillette. Just made a newbie mistake trying to aim for an old DPS who had just rerun when I started. I only pull for Meta

Wait aino is on zibai banner ?? Did banner leaks come?? I was talking about skipping columbina if you wanted neuvillete because flins with ineffa is already told strong so columbina is not a must pull for him tbh . But yeah if you don't care about neuvi then you should get columbina

Zibai costs one C6 four stars, that's not cheaper. It's worse. Illuga is unusable below C2 and pretty bad below C6 to the point where he's not even best in slot for Zibai. And if you lack the alternatives (C6 gorou, zhongli, chiori, ineffa, furina and xilonen together...) you might as well keep pulling Zibai constellations in the hopes of getting some for Illuga as well.

Flins is rumored to rerun next patch. Columbina/Ineffa/Flins is going to be easier to get if you plan to stop at C0 each, since you'll have all of lantern rite + at least half of next patch to farm for Flins after getting Columbina and Ineffa.

Both options are going to be great, so ultimately pick whichever one you find more interesting. But do manage your expectations for Zibai because of Illuga, maybe even get Ineffa as well even for her.

Personally I would say Flins. He has a good sustain in his team + Ineffa is a good unit to have on your account, and can work with others unlike Illuga who literally only works with Zibai.

Also you may or may not get enough cons on Illuga who isn't guaranteed, whereas Columbina and Ineffa have a guaranteed pity.

Flins is the one. You already have options for a workable Flins team (Sucrose, Aino, Fischl/Ororon/Dori) without pulling anyone else. Make Ineffa your priority for phase 1 and you are golden. Signed, a Flins main.
