Play whomever is fun. It really doesn't matter at your stage in the game, or for most of the story and open world stuff in general.

You just started you shouldn't focus on teams as much play whoever you like the most, but generally you want to trigger any reactions like melt "Cryo+Pyro" if you couldn't defeat certain enemies.

I think you do get Barbra in AR18 for free so check your event tab she is a healer so you won't die, if you are still struggling add Noelle she gives a shield.
So (Barbra+kaeya+Diluc+Noelle) might work for you.

I gave him a new spear and leveled him up to 20
And solely killed 5-6 white hilichurl, 3-4 red on and 2 blue and 1 purple one and 1 big red hilichurl who had shield and one with fire axe😱

I just can't believe it!

I was going for the statue of seven when I encountered them!

You don’t exactly have the members for anything close to meta so it doesn’t really matter.

A team that should work though would be Noelle, Kaeya, Diluc, and Lisa. It has a variety of elements that will help against enemies that are invulnerable to certain ones and lets you use several reactions on enemies. It also has Noelle who can shield and heal you, and Diluc as a pyro user since you mentioned in a comment you wanted to do dragonspine.

There is no way of resetting characters to get back materials, this usually doesn’t matter to much since you can always farm more materials, but take this into account when deciding to use a crown on leaving up a character talent to lv10. Crowns are a very limited item and you will only get maybe 1 per version from events, outside of the couple exploration based ones

Honestly, with this amount of characters, just use whatever you want
