Y does Genshin still feel so low budget compared to hoyos other games
Like they changed the graphics and updated the models but idk the game still feels so..mobile gamey compared to their other games.
I feel like a huge part of it is probably the fact they haven’t updated the systems used to make the story or any core part of the game that isn’t strictly visuals and animations since like 2017
And I am NOT talking about the graphics. Ever since natlan and nod krais graphical update Genshin has been a very pretty looking game even if it did look like a ps2 game before

Duh because they are from old engine ???
Might be totally biased though, most genshin animations are clearly better than HSR. The walking is more natural (HSR looks like gliding) and since it is an open world there's a lot of opportunity for character kits to interact with the environment. You can set fire to grass, stuff flies around with anemo.
ZZZ : also no open world and most of its design is put into combat but all stage are just flat combat area with slight elevation
And Genshin was released in 2020 before any of those two games. I wonder why the newer game looks better hmmmmm???
