Early account - team help

Hi, trying to get into Genshin after a few years again, but I am not exactly sure who should I focus on from my roster. My Gaming is fun, but it seems he is kinda falling off around world level 2 / AR27 as main DPS.

Any recommendations as to who I should focus on as main DPS and what team I can put together that will scale well into the endgame? Thanks in advance.

What team and build are you running with gaming?
Also imo, u don't rlly need an insane team to clear the main story / story quests / world quests / general exploration.

Endgame content (Stygian/Spiral/IT) is where team comp comes into play, and tbh u will (should) have a 5 star main dps by then, as there are few 4 stars who can hold their own in those Endgame and require ALOT of investment and rlly good supports (again 5 stars). So unless u rlly want a 4 star only team build around them. But for now, gaming should get you through with a good vape team and good build.

Alot of people will tell you to pull supports and you can if u want, but imo there few 5 star supports that can't be replaced by 4 stars. Dps on the hand, you should have atleast 1 or 2(for sa)

Using Xianling and Barbara, the 4th slot still figuring out but mostly Kayea for Melt.

Yeah, I’ll get Bennett as soon as he’s available and planning to get Xingqiu from the Chinese new year event. Hopefully that will make the team feel better

That works, however I would suggest not doing melt and since you don't have a good buffer, like sucrose you should do overload instead.
Maybe chev iansan and xiangling would prob be good.

Gaming, Fischl, Chevreuse, Iansan could be a solid team, even early on having access to Chev's resist shred should be pretty good. Can also swap Gaming for Xiangling if he's not feeling great to play with his health drain and no proper healer. (Chev heals a little, but not much) Or swap for Iansan if you don't want to deal with her movement requirement just yet. Also, make sure you do the 4\* trials on those characters before they leave so you have the materials to ascend them to lvl 40 at least, or just explore ahead.

Otherwise, follow the [Build Order Infographic](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/) with your DPS units as best you can and you shouldn't feel like you're falling behind.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah, the health drain feels bad atm. I’ll swap in Xianling and try the team u suggested.
