My Flins team c6r5 Flins , c2r1 Ineffa, c2r1 columbina (after patch) , I have sucrose c6 that im using currently, will xilonen c2r1 be better to replace? Thx
Not really, unless you really want the healing. Sucrose's EM buffs and TTDS are much better than the DMG% buff of Xilo Scroll and R1, and while the C2 HP% buff to Bina is ok, the Electro buff on Flins and Ineffa is unnecessary.

Amused. YoYou're right, Sucrose is cleaearly better here.

-6 sec burst cd and 25 energy is unnecessary? Trying to understand, thx

Xilonen’s C2 enables Ineffa to burst twice per rotation. Since your Ineffa is also C2, each burst is followed by a big LC nuke, the benefit could be quite significant. Not sure if that is better than Sucrose in terms of damage, but it’s probably quite fun.
In fact, with a team of C6r5 Flin, c2r1 Ineffa and C2r1 Columbina, min-maxing for damage is probably not that important for the current endgame.

That would be a heck of a rotation to try and optimize. Still a 9s cooldown on burst, plus you have to Xilonen EN2 for the CDR twice,
I guess it probably works, and it sounds fun. No way in hell anything that doesn't have 100%+ Electro Res is actually surviving a full rotation though, so it'd be a pain to even practice.

\-6s burst cooldown on a burst that you don't even use most of the time on Flins, because you use mini-bursts that are gated by skill usage. And 25 energy on a character that needs basically 0 ER with sig. The only way to make Xilonen C2 'useful' is to force a big burst every rotation (so the CDR matters), but then you still need to have high enough ER to build up all 3 bursts from zero, which means sacrificing damage stats for a lot of ER ([Apparently around 200 ER](https://www.reddit.com/r/Flins_Mains/comments/1o6bc8n/how_to_use_big_burst_every_rotation/)). None of Flins' cons help with energy generation past C1.
As for Ineffa, her cooldown doesn't gate the rotation anyway, and getting -6s isn't going to make it possible to do 2-burst rotations or anything. The energy is nice, it's probably enough that a low or zero ER Ineffa can burst every rotation, and with C2 that's significant for the extra nuke.

You forgot R5 weapon which helps in energy requirement.
KyrrithK2026-01-13 03:02
You're right, I realized that after, but then I checked and R1 is 12 Flat energy per rotation, increased to 16 with R5. 4 more flat energy isn't going to make much of a difference to needing to build 90 energy in \~8 seconds. But you're right, maybe 190-195% ER? Still a huge loss of damage stats, and purely something you'd do just to flex your 24-cost team. Which I guess could be reason enough.

Why does it matter? You have a C6R5. You should be able to clear all content with flins with amber and xinyan

I think it depends entirely on the rotations and value of ER to EM in your artifacts, xilonen if you can find the quickswaps give you a lot of energy, i sometimes find better clears with varesa xilonen C2 than chevy. People who haven't used xilo C2 underestimate the electro buff.
So if you need grouping go with sucrose. If you don't, try the rotations and see if you can make up for the em sharing sucrose does in reducing your ER and see if you can manage a third burst/extra big burst on additional energy. Xilonen also makes your life easier on average as her trigger condition for res shred is easier than swirl. Since xilo weapon is not useful for lunar, may be consider fav. If you don't wanna switch weapon sucrose ttds will be more value.

Xilonen gives a more consistent Resistance Shred, can make for faster use of Flins big burst, and can equip Fav for lower ER Requirements or Freedom Sworn for an Attack Buff for the party (20% for all characters at R1). You'll also potentially get some Lunar Crystalize reactions going for the Team. She Also gives a 45% HP Boost to Columbina.
Sucrose has inconsistent VV outside of large, single target enemies (usually sufficient for Stygian), a large EM buff, and can boost the Team's attack with Wandering Evenstar.
With how highly invested your Flins is, most content won't last long, but I would honestly give Xilonen a shot.

I’m sure in terms of actual damage sucrose will be better, however I love using c2 Xilonen in this team because it allows me to use Flins big burst and not worry as much about ER%. I put her on instructor artifacts and freedom sworn so she gives an EM + ATK% buff, but favonius would also be good on her here. I would not recommend running her with scroll or sig on this team.
