No Sethos or Ifa — Are They Worth Investing in If I Pull Them?
I don’t currently have Sethos or Ifa. I’m planning to pull on the Columbina banner in a few days and will hopefully be getting both for the first time.
For those who use them, how do they feel to play, and are they worth building if I pull them?

Sethos is in a pretty similar place he is nice in an underdeveloped account, but pretty useless for a developed account. Sethos' situation is a bit more precarious since he doesn't really have GREAT teams.
That said, Sethos has very interesting gameplay so if he seems fun play him anyway the game doesn't really need so that much optimization.
Ifa is fun, but kinda weak compared to other options (however I only have him at C0).
Ifa on the other hand is not that good, even as a healer. He's more like a driver like sucrose, heck I think sucrose is better than him. But if you like him you can also play him as lunar charge/electro charge since it's his kit. He works with Furina since he can heal.
Ifa is *okay*. He can hold Cinder City or VV, which makes him good enough for Theater. He's worth taking to 70 if you need more characters. Don't invest more than that unless you're swimming in resources. Skipable overall.
Sethos is ass. Main DPS 4 Stars are almost always terrible. Sethos has bad gameplay, low damage, and requires valuable supports to be functional. Only build him if you LOVE his character based on the 1 event and 5 minutes of screentime he's had.
I have built both of mine for main DPS and I love using them for exploration especially ifa.
Sethos is, as others have said, very technical. I like his kit and find it interesting, but he's very difficult for me to play personally. I do love that one of his best teams is all 4 stars (Fischl, Sucrose, Kirara). Maybe I'll like him more if/when I get him to c6, right now I think I've only got c2.
I have Ifa C6, he's cool and all, but I definitely won't pick him for any serious content. I enjoyed to lvl up friendship to lvl 10 tho, he's fun. I probably will use him in wheelchair team with Columbina and Ineffa, but he's not main DPS and require very little investments
Sethos is main DPS and, trust me, you don't want to waste tons of resources on a 4* main DPS in 2026. Back in 1.x-3.x it was fine, but now, when we have teams with 150k DPS... Just no. If you have too much resources, then you can do whatever you want, but 4* clears are almost a history now. Forget it. Too much investments needed
Ofc I'm day one player and have almost all characters, but if you don't have a lot of characters - get Columbina and Ineffa and spend resources to upgrade them. You probably won't get C6 Sethos anyway at that point
4* DPS is a myth now
(Yeah, yeah, I see you, that one hyperinvested Gaming with R5 banner weapon. You're cool! Sad that Ineffa + Columbina can do more damage from offield)
Aggravate i think is his highest personal damage dealing ome but thing is, its not really his gameplay thats hard he like alot of characters hates getting interrupted.
Ifa is...okayish? He is noch and there are more generalist supports that perform better than him even in his niche. Namely Sucrose and Lan Yan. He doesn't really heal enough for stacking fanfare for Furina. He's just meh unless you really like him, I wouldn't encourage you to invest in him.
In the end, you should always build the ones you want. No real reason in GI not to, especially because we have the Theatre!
Please keep in mind that 4 stars are not guaranteed and you can get very unlucky, I've personally gotten 5 stars I wasn't planning on getting and never ending up with the 4 star I was chasing lol
Ifa is a fun and pretty easy to use unit that heals, swirls, and flys which can be nice. If you don't have any movement characters I would recommend him just for that alone.
Sethos can be hard to master but there's some good tutorials on YouTube to learn about his different play styles. Once you get the hang of him he can be very fun since his kit is more involved than a lot of others (especially other 4 stars)
To begin with, one of his best weapons is Slingshot, a 3 stars weapon. May as well be better than all 4 stars weapons. Why is that the case? Well, because the secondary stat is CR, allowing you to give him a CD Circlet, and the passive greatly enhances his damage. What would be a balancing factor, such as the low base ATK of a 3 stars weapon, is essentially a non-issue, as he scales far more out of EM than ATK anyway. He's built with EM + DMG + CD. Get a lot of ER substats btw. Also, it's ridiculously easy to farm his artifacts, as you get it passively just by beating random bosses, as his best set is Wanderer's Troupe.
I have C6 ifa and I love playing him...but I benched him after getting chasca...she just did everything he does...only better. Ifa has one advantage...he can hold TTDS
Other people keep comparing him to new 5* DPS options, but he's good enough to clear any endgame content that isn't Dire Stygian. His playstyle requires some thought but he has quite a few techs that let's you have some choice and creativity in how you play him.
My Ifa has only 1 con so I haven't used him much but he's a usable exploration unit, really good with Lunar/Electro Charge since he likes EM as well, and can use TTDS and Cinder City as to be a quick buffer if you don't care to on-field him for long.
