Here's just a fact: in update 6.2, we were allowed to craft two artifacts instead of one, and the developers didn't say anything about this quality of life feature during the live stream. Just wait for the changelog this Wednesday.

Short for "quality of life" basically gameplay updates that makes life easier for the player.
Artifact load out for instance is a quality of life improvement, since it makes it easier to swap what artifacts your character has equipped.
This change doesn't make your characters stronger just saves you time.
