returning player

hey! returning genshin player here. all these new maps and statues are making me overwhelmed 😭 just wondering what you guys would recommend, should i unlock all the statues first? or do i continue what i’m doing and that is finishing the archon quests that i have (currently in sumeru) it’s just that i wanna build varesa asap and actually just start building a decent team. i’m ar 49 btw

Most gacha games by design limit how much you can grind in a day by limiting your daily/ weekly resource acquisition rate. Unless you're doing a main story quest or something (dialogue heavy) genshin doesn't take up much of your time.

I think it's a better idea to do a beeline to where Varesa stuff is than rushing the story. That's exactly what i did with Mavuika and Citlali. At least you're already in Sumeru, i think i was in Monstad or Liyue when i had to do that.

You probably wanna go straight to the domains that give you varesas stuff then. You don’t need to stop for anything else if u don’t want to but also exploring regions “out of order” doesn’t really matter since exploration is pretty independent from the archon quests.

You only get a certain amount of resin each day, so go unlock the domain, then while doing your quests and stuff like you were you can teleport over each day to spend your resin there and get her stuff

IMO it's way more fun exploring without the map drawn in for you. And you can see the location of domains regardless. Just my two cents.
