Like come on, keep fighting! lol.
Like, why isn't such a thing there already? Ok, we lost little one who's.. idk where, and we're killing saurians all over now too, at least compensate for that by letting us place a saurian in the teapot?
There's furniture for them there already... Where they can rest and stuff so it's not biggie, not to mention all the animals we can put there but - like we need a saurian in the teapots and ig we will be fine then
Killed something or feel down? Visits ur fav saurian in the teapots - and let it be so there we can put baby versions too
Same with every other human enemy (they run defeated).
Very few creatures actually die, the ones that become food mostly.
It makes sense, see that sometimes you fight the tribes of natlan, what would be the point of you killing them and their pets?.
At best they are delinquents and you just put them in place.
If you make eye contact, you fight. At worst you faint or something but nobody dies.
You just knocked out some loose teeth is all XD
If you see when you "kill" any treasure hunter, they always pop smoke and leave.
Whenever we fought with fatui enemies for example and there was a cinematic right after or a dialogue scene, they are always alive.
Maybe its tough for people who have only played Pokémon but from my point of view, All dinosaurs must be purged.
On the one hand, they place cute adorable creatures and they also make quests to connect human and animals raising awareness of animal protection, take Chasca´s story quest for instance, but on the other hand, they make these animals extremely annoying in the overworld and they make you kill them like crazy to level up characters, it is what it is
10/10 design, sometimes I want to write a fic about that /s
there's a game i've been playing recently named CrossCode, where at some point you meet some electric cats in a jungle.
I feel guilty about taking them down, also because those guys are actually assholes that can very easily kill you
/thread
I was already prepared what cute enemie i need to force to kill in nod krai tbh
The annoyance at how few times they pop up from Leylines balances out
Also do you know how many freaking claws I needed? I basically committed saurian genocide on the daily for like 3 months
If your story (Saurians are intelligent, a valued part of Natlan society, and are basically people) and gameplay (Lmao just go kill a bunch of these "basically people" who are standing around minding their own business) aren't consistent, then you as a dev are lazy, or just don't care - and If you don't care about the integrity of the game, then neither do I.
Genshin isn't a serious world with serious lore. Genshin's open world was designed to just be content^tm from the start, so I just think of the entire thing as just content^tm . Why would I feel terrible grinding through content^tm ?
Like, I call Genshin a generic Ubisoft open world a lot, but even Ubisoft puts more effort into immersing their mechanics into the game world than Genshin.
Meanwhile Saurians attack on sight. Not quite sure why, since they seem like an integral part of Natlan society.
But yeah, fighting Hilichurls or Fatui feels very different from both of those cases.
But I also find many Fontaine animals too cute to turn into materials. Fortunately the crabs are common.
"Why we had to spar the juvenile ones TwT"
In the nation of war, fighting is a form of competition appreciated by everyone, including the saurians and their children.
You’re just knocking. Few teeth out. An honest victor has to accept a trophy after all. Fortunately, their teeth grow back, no big deal.
But yes I groan with pain every time
The beings you fight in Ley Lines aren't real. They're projections of memories stored within Irminsul. It'll be a slower method, since not every Leyline includes Saurians, but it will get the job done!
