I think he still remembers Scara. Thoughts?

The shot in the trailer of Dottore staring at Wanderer through the animals eyes makes me think he still remembers Scaramouche. Just the fact that they specifically had it looking at him, not any other character. Dottore *would* be the type to mess with Scara like this, I think. What do you think?

i would still vote no. dottore could take up an interest on why a certain akademiya student is running amok nod krai.

*"he's not researching nor doing any experiments like a diligent student would do out of the akademiya, so what is he doing here?"* - dottore probably.

yet again, Dottore has been quite the wildcard, so something like remembering the experiment he conducted would not be far off

tbf... almost every harbinger is a wildcard

It's watching *us*

that's what he says, yes. but the shot focuses on wanderer specifically. I'm not saying this is *absolutely* gonna be true, just that the shot seems to imply it

If there is any character that would be able to bypass irminsul and remember him, it would be Dottore

that being said he is still a "completely normal" human being, Nahida, the god of irminsul and knowledge in general, wasn't even able directly bypass irminsul, although she was able to leave a hint for herself so she would be able to figure out that he deleted himself. The difference is that Dottore probably didn't care enough to set up a contingency for in case Wanderer deleted himself

We know Nicole knows about Wanderer, so it's really a question of if Dottore's mind is as protected from Irmunsul changes as Nicole is.

I think the point of the harbinger naming scheme is to tie them to a story building template.
Thus Dottore is aware that Scaramouche is a position which HAD to have been filled.

Additionally, it’s very likely dottore is aware of Nahida taking on a new student, one who doesn’t have a history in teyvat.

Considering dottore came into possession of the electro gnosis, despite signora’s failure in acquiring it, it follows that another harbinger was involved.

In conclusion, Dottore should have everything he needs to discern scaramouche/wanderer/hat guy’s original role in the story.

nah, i think this scene referencing how Dottore's experiment is turning his subordinates into a monsters. which was a line said by NPC in the trailer

How did you pick up that context at all?

Its just someone who was transformed into an animal. Thats it.

I guess I forgot that my fellow genshin players hate to have fun...

I think its just the fact that that animal is the person lying and that is why it doesn't have an animals gaze
