Who to pull for

I last played genshin 2 years ago and recently got back into it. However it seems that my characters are no longer good enough to beat a lot of in game enemies LOL. I know Furina is still considered pretty good and I run her with Hutao, Jean, and Ei. I am trying to figure out who I can pull for so I can clear enemies with ease again considering my current characters. Everyone that is lvl.80 is built pretty good including xiangling, xingqiu, and bennett.

Not trying to get the biggest damage possible, just like a good solid team. Like is it Mavuika? Should I pull for Columbina? Help a girl out🤞

Also I am F2P and not willing to pull for cons or signature weapons. I have a very good amount of primos saved up where I can for sure pull for at least ~2 new 5* characters. Thank you if you want to help!!

Chasca would be very good choice for you. She is very easy to build, there is a good craftable weapon for her (Chain Breaker), she is very flexible and can be teamed up pretty much with any pyro, hydro, electro and cryo characters, and she does nice damage. I think she is still in the top 10 DPS characters.

Also she is very simple to play and she is probably the best character for exploring, because of her flying ability.

A C0 Chasca with Chain Breaker will rely a lot on off-field premium to deal good DPS, and to tell an account that has an overabundance of on-fielders to pull another on-fielder is bogus imho

Well OP said that she is not looking for the biggest damage possible, so I thought that Chasca would be an easy choice with minimal effort.

Also she has Mona, Bennet, Fischl, which makes an excellent team for Chasca.

You're telling someone to pull a new unit just to have a sidegrade in DPS. You could say "not for DPS, but for travel Chasca will be useful and easy to use" and leave it to their preference.

Did you actually play that "excellent team" for Chasca and how it fares? Because a Hu Tao Furina team outperforms it by a good margin.

Well I did bring it up, because she still is in top 10 DPS which is enough to clear enemies in the open world pretty easily.

I think you either didn't play it in any difficult content or don't own her at all. You really want a premium comp on Chasca or vertical investment. You can find online that the calculations of the comp you mentioned is already low (gcsim puts that team on 53.1K, which is what you get with oldest units or 1.x 4\* comps) but I am speaking from experience: I have pulled Chasca in the Aeonblight Drake stygian patch. Her C0 performance with Bennett Mona Ororon was so mediocre that I had to get C3R1 on her, which then became night and day. A player should either get the premiums (Mavuika/Citlali/Furina/Escoffier or other modern off-fielders like Ineffa/Columbina) or get vertical on the character. She is not a one-pull wonder at all.

Get Columbina + another lunar unit (preferably Ineffa). Your on-field 5\* might be old, but they can perform just as well if you get good off-fielders.

Hu Tao + Furina + Jean + Raiden is not a good team btw, you want to remove either Hu Tao or Raiden and replace with Xingqiu.

Thank you so much! That’s good advice. Hypothetically is it better to pull for Ineffa or Columbina in the upcoming banner since they are coming together? And if I don’t pull for Ineffa, would anyone else work with Columbina?

Ineffa upgrades the DPS of any team comp that can have hydro aura on the enemy for a significant amount of time. She can also moonlight as an electro shielder even if you can't utilize the lunar reactions, such as Arle + Chev overload teams.

Columbina really wants another moonwheel unit in the team (So far, these have been exclusively Nod-Krai 5\* units), otherwise her ability to change reactions into lunar reactions by itself is not that impressive.

Venti, Mona, Ineffa, flex is actually a strong enough team right now due to the hex buff and would clear content very very comfortably that would be your best off rip.

The Raiden, Ineffa, Jean, Furina works ive tried it alot love it, it comfortably clears

Taser as well for Keqing
