I love both but can afford to c6 only one, will c2 the other but can't decide. I want to on field them both so will get ineffa and c2 lauma for bina, and escoffier for skirk.

C6 skirk and C2 columbina should be the way to go. When you are running someone as restrictive as Skirk, you want to put as much personal damage on her as possible. Columbina C6 is also goated, but the benefit from C2 to C6 will not be as pronounced as your on-fielder's damage upgrades, whoever they are.
Same logic applies to a lot of other off-fielders, people hyping C6 Furina as a one-character wonder doesn't understand that same investment on a modern on-fielder (even for her time) would yield a much higher damage increase, and the "flexibility" of Furina going into other teams doesn't mean much if you are using that C6 on-fielder all the time.

C6 Skirk is a real monster, but purely in terms of gameplay versatility and team-building flexibility, C6 Columbina has a higher priority. Also, if you’re someone who enjoys co-op, even C6 Skirk actually offers a pretty poor game experience.
