Is there something specific I'm supposed to do with this?

I'm running around sumeru and not I cleared out this cave north of the city. I'm also knocking out the Vanarana stuff so I thought I could play music to it or something. But nada. I'm so confused.

I tried it with tighnari and Nahida. Nothing happened

I looked around and didn't see any near by but I'll go back and look again

Went through again and didn't find any

Where is this?

"To add clarification on the location it is a cave system you have to drop down into under a big rock. It's an island at the north West corner of Chatrakam Cave. You play a song for an anarana on top of said big rock."

Play it some music with the old harp

Might need to hit it with a charged attack after activating a [Dendrograna](https://game8.co/games/Genshin-Impact/archives/386185) (those cone shaped things with a green clover symbol).

Not a single one of the dendrograna in this cave system. I've looked everywhere

NetNGames2026-01-13 20:18

Possibly part of a quest then.

Try playing vintage lyre next to it?

Edit: my bad, I see you tried that.

Try going through your quest list when you’re standing by the rock and see if there are any listed as having their location close by.

Just looked and nothing..

I went there to investigate.

Thanks, i found my last missing waypoint from sumeru in that cave.

Seems to be one of those quest objects which starts broken and then you play music to repair it, for what purpose i dont remember, must have been one of those green energy barrier requirements to open.

Just in case i tried to place a portable waypoint there to warp with both dendrograna and healthy variants, no effect, the lyre also doesn't glow.

EDIT: also tried pyro and electro attacks, no effect.

Lol you're welcome! And yah, it's been a while since I've been down there and I don't remember seeing it before. So I thought I was missing something, but it could very well be like that because I did already do something with it.

Lost_Time-L2026-01-13 04:15

Aren't these part of Aranara world quests?

_Morgi_the_Corgi_2026-01-13 04:35

I'm honestly not sure. I feel like I've dealt with them before but can't remember. And this is also the only one I've seen recently anywhere I've traveled in sumeru

this cave is part of the Agnihotra Sutra quest series. those stone tablets are quest related, having dendro aura means you probably already did the quest.
