My first 5 star character 😑

Im a new player and I lost the 50/50 trying to get Varesa and now Qiqi is my very first 5 star. 😭 I would have been happy with any of the other standard 5 star characters because I hate Qiqi sm

I lost at 81 pity to Qiqi, when tried to get Raiden in 2.5. If being cursed means getting three copies of Yelan and Mona in 160 pulls, also Aqua Simulacra in 7. Having a 50/50 winstreak of 7 at one point. Getting two weapons in 10 pulls, so I have both Durin and Venti's signatures now, as well as a lot of earlies/wins or crazy pulls in other ways... I want to be cursed.

I mean she is good if you're starting the game but her ability to not fit in teams in something annoying. For example she is cryo so you cant use her in vap team neither overload. Can use her in a melt team but melt is overall underrated(it is powerful but not considering her on the team, you know what i mean). Cause of other better cryo supports such as rosaria and considering charlotte with same or a little less amount of healing.

I mean even hoyo cant save a washed kit. As i told you that she isnt a bad character but she cant fit into teams and that makes her bad. So even after she is buffed. A washed zombie kid will always be washed, hiding from hutao so she wont be buried 10 feet deep😂

Not necessarily. They can radically change her kit. They made fischl an OL and EC support, chamged Razor’s best team and playstyle, greatly improved Klee, and Albedo and changed Venti so much that he feels like an entirely new characater.

She is hated, because people are gullible to fallacies, that she is *always* the one you lose your 50/50 for, despite statistically people have lost to every characters \~equally.

But yes, she is good healer. But nothing other than that. The problem with Qiqi is that she can *only heal*. She is terrible at energy application, has long cooldowns and isn't good battery either and any other healer can at least buff you or something. Benny for example. Even Diona can heal and shield you at the same time.

So she is really just good character for people who like her in the story. Otherwise she is really below mid as an unit. Because she doesn't do anything. You don't need that much healing anyway. And if you want good healer that can heal as much as her, Xianyun works.

I really don't even consider Diona as a healer, her heal is too low. Xiangyun's also. I haven't see a lot of character's heal, not Charlotte, not Natlan's, not Nod Krai's, not Siggewine's, but for me only Furina can top Qiqi's healing, only because Furina does dmg too and her heal is more fast. Kokomi's heal is annoying, some metres away and no healing at all. I can see why, but you can't compare Qiqi with other healer because yes she does only heal, but her heal its massive. Mine has awful build and still do 4k+ each time she heals. Who need that healing? My Raiden 😂💀💀So yeah she is easy to build. If u have other healer's and better artifact so you can reach their full potentian then okay. I can agree use them instead, but for new players I totally recommend Qiqi. She is funny and easy. Natlan's and Nod Krai's builds are so difficult to understand.

Diona’s heal is great. Use maiden’s on her and give her triple hp main stats and she does 5-6k per heal, while maintaining a strong shield. My Qiqi only does 3k per heal.

Xianyun’s is also good enough. She keeps my Xiao at near full health when his health is drained by himself, furina and the enemy attacking.

She is mostly hated for her lack of utility. She heals, and does literally nothing else. She has lackluster damage, literally no particle generation, and poor elemental application. She doesn't even give any buffs like Sigewinne or Baizhu. She is a one trick pony.

That's who I started the game with. Second highest defense stat in the game (just behind itto) and her heal is team wide. I face tanked the game when I was new, got the "ocean hued clam" artifact set and continued to use her as my main dps.

I lost my Raiden in 2.5 second half for Qiqi at 81 pity as well. And it was not until 5.0 that I finally got Shogun.

Also Qiqi isn't bad character, it's just not really good. Like... she is amazing healer, practically best in the game. Except... that's the only thing she is good at. No Cryo application, no buffs, her skills have long cooldowns, ridiculously so, too. So it's not that she is not usable, just that other picks are better.

But don't worry. Tomorrow is new patch. The maintenance for the new version starts in 17 hours and 30 minutes. After than, in around 4-5 hours, we will get 6.3 and Columbina with Ineffa will come to banners and second half will have Zibai and Neuvillette. Now, I don't want to tell you what to pull, but if you don't have any plans and want strong character, I can recommend Neuvillette. This is one of the strongest and easiest to play characters in the game. But you can try getting Columbina or Ineffa if you want. Or... you still have few more hours before banners vanish. Who knows? Maybe you get lucky 1 pity Varesa pull? Never lose hope.

Though it’s a shame you couldn’t get Varesa, Qiqi is still plenty good for the early - mid game if you build her right (any 5 star for that matter). If you wanted somebody reliable for the rest of the game, a reroll is advised but I wouldn’t recommend it

Wait. Is she your first ? So you are a new player and u make that face? Qiqi is pretty good for beginners. I, myself, am not a beginner, and i even use her a lot. She does great heal, especially if you don't have Kokomi or Furina. Although Kokomi's way to heal is ennoying , i would always prefer Qiqi. So only Furina can top Qiqi for me. Try her, she is good, especially if you play with vulnerable dps characters for example Yanfei or Raiden (i mean u don't have Raiden but still). Try not listen to that youtubers, for some of them every character is bad, lol. That's not the point of the game. There is the lovely community of genshin and there is also the toxic one that hates some characters and call them useless. No one is useless. There are better and least better but that's a gacha game, they need to create better characters for marketing.

My account is seven months old. I splurged at the end of Natlan to put together a viable team, and ended up with Mavuika and Citlali. Problem was, I had no one else to go with them. I was running Fischl and Barbara for a while. It sort of worked, but there was no consistency to my reactions.

Did a bit of research on team building, and decided I just wanted to focus on melt. So Lan Yan replaced Barbara for the VV, and Qiqi replaced Fischl for the heals, and for not messing up melt. It worked great until I finally recently pulled Xilonen.

Barbara is the only character I've played that might be a better healer than Qiqi.

Actually that’s the best way to start the game, with a punch in the face, so you know what you can expect. A friend of mine started at the durin banner and pulled 3 durins with 70 pulls. Now he’s blinded and thinks it’s easy af to get the limited 5 stars and he will top up whenever he sees a character he wants. In the meanwhile you witnessed the reality.

I still remember seeing Qiqi as a must have if your a new player on some people YT Tier list back then while Bennet & Xinqiu was at A or B tier which makes me laugh even now lol She's a special chara that im attached too

Actually Qiqi is very good in the very beginning. Later she becomes almost useless because there are much better options for healing and damage. But in the beginning with less options, she is amazing and carry and facetank everything and heals the team.

Qiqi was my first five star as well.

In the early game she's an alright healer. Again, early game I was a heavy Noelle user. But Qiqi was great for exploring with her heal. Especially with Tenacity of the Millelith set you can get in Liyue.

When I got to Inazuma it opened up the Ocean-Hued Clam Artifact. Which allows Qiqi's heals to convert to damage. So you can heal and do damage up to 30,000 HP, which for an explore team is pretty good.

Her healing scales with ATK. So pour into that. But she's a very good off field healer to the point your allies will need very little food to keep up.

It does suck losing that 50/50 especially when it was someone you really want. But the person you get is an opportunity to build something you weren't expecting. And early game, every five star is precious.

She's a great start unit and does really well in freeze teams like Chongyun, Mona, and Xingqiu in early game. Or in super conduct teams like Fischl, Kaeya, and Razor. You do need another cryo because her cryo application is slow, but her on field team healing when she hits is something that is hard to ignore.

Well built Qiqi allows a team to tank a lot of things. So much so, later on in the game there is a thing called Secret Source Airflow something, anyway it's a talent material. And the boss that drops it hates freeze and my freeze team with Qiqi would just sit there and tank the whole thing. Her heals easily outpaced what damage the thing could do.

It maybe is a good thing cuz it's almost always the case that the first 5* one pulls is not what one truly wants. (this was my case btw, I pulled for yoimiya back when I first played, purely because I was new and didnt see other characters yet). So keep enjoying the game!

If you have Sacrificial Sword, you can basically have 100% uptime on her party healing skill. Although how true the "100% uptime" is, will depend on the refinements level. Also, don't forget you have to basic attack with the skill to actually heal the party, and don't straight up do "Skill + Burst". Leave Burst to when you're about to swap out of Qiqi or the skill is down. One healing source is enough.

I have a Yoimiya, Sucrose, Xianqiu, and Qiqi party that I call Bulkmiya on account of the fact that my Qiqi doesn’t have knockback and does Uber healing coupled with Xianqiu’s burst

Also, I lost my 50/50 to Qiqi while pulling for Muilani, am soooo greatful though. I have only been playing a few months & am no where near finnished story or archon quests... But im an hour away from being Adventure Level 58... Lesgooo! All with qiqi by my side!
