Clearing some misinformation regarding Lantern Rite 20 pulls reward in Luna IV

been seeing under posts asking about Lantern Rite where these ppl saying you don't get the 20 pulls during Columbina's banner. i get that these ppl were basing this to last year Lantern Rite where they gave the 20 pulls on 2nd phase of the patch while the new character banners (Mavuika and Citlali) were both on the first phase.

while the structure of version Luna IV patch is the same as version 5.3 where Lantern Rite event starts on the 2nd phase, they actually put it on the first phase this time. take a look at this event calendar:

as you can see, the 20 pulls event start 2 days after Columbina's banner started.

i guess this is where you say:

anyway, at least read recent info from official account before attempting to answer about anything is my point.

Omg I just read a thread in HSR sub that they dont read. ZZZ also has a thread where people dont read.

If we extrapolate:

1. Nobody reads about laws either in their country, something far more important
2. Nobody reads fine print or EULA
3. People in general seem to be reading less books?

Calling it anniversary is misleading because online toddlers will mistake lantern lite with game anniversary and spread misinfo because they have poor media literacy anyway.

I’ll add:

3. “Three intertwined fates” in CN is read (without proper diacritics) “san ke you,” and is a pun on “thank you” in English

4. They had given the exact same amount in the mail the same way in previous years, always in addition to 10 pulls via login rewards

5. They announced the mail rewards in the 4.4 livestream in the *exact* same way they announced the mail rewards in the 3.4 livestream

6. They never said anything about it being “for X number of years”

Ngl, pretty sure the event calendar from the live stream was different, which is where the misconception comes from.

But im glad it is all 20 now in first phase instead of split 10 and 10 like it seemed during the livestream

FWIW, us Columbina Day 1 Pullers actually WON'T be able to use the Lantern Rite pulls haha, coz we'll have (hopefully) Columbina by the time those pulls show up.

For me at least, these might get converted into Varka Pulls. Or maybe Columbina Weapon Pulls.

The first batch of 10 pulls starts on January 16, while the other 10 pull is delivered through mail starting from January 30 stretched across five consecutive days, so it's January 30, Jan 31, Feb 1, 2 and 3. February 3 is the last day of Bina's banner. So yes, we get all 20 pulls during her banner right before she goes away.
