What is a good team for the abyss? I seem to be struggling mainly on the 2nd half when it comes to weasel. I’m just not sure that I have a good plunge team.
i think some people bruteforce it with skirk-esco just fine without plunge? if you want plunge, ororon can fly up and plunge

the weasel need plunge OR heavy attacks, some people bruteforce with mavuika team, i think i saw someone use skirk too
VAEM has the low gravity (?) mechanic, anyone can jump high and plunge. i used bennett (burst then jump and plunge, the burst outheal the damage taken)

Its shield has equivalent of 100% of its base HP, so brute force = twice dps required. A freeze may also keep it freeze for a while before it can activate its shield.

Depend on your gear. With good gears Skirk maybe able to brute force it

I have almost everyone’s signature weapon and almost all 5* have pretty decent artifacts or can be swapped with a member. I’ll try Skirk and see if I can brute force the shields.

Arlechino bennet ororon chevruse you can use Ororon hold jump ability to fly up and plunge the shield once it’s down go all out

1st half Arle, Bennett, Kaz, Xilonen. Or any team you prefer. Arle is good for the last boss though.
2nd half Skirk, Escoffier, Furina, Shenhe.
If you beat chamber 1 1st half in 1m20s you can just wait until the weasel lowers it's shield. The weasel uses 6 ticks of AOE attacks then lowers its shield. After the weasel uses 5 ticks of its AOE do Furina QE, Escoffier QE, Shenhe QE, and either Skirk hold E Q or press E then Q then spam normals. Do the same for the 2nd weasel.
Or you can freeze the weasel before it even shields up. For that start the chamber, Furina E then immediately Escoffier E, don't burst before it's frozen. Keep it frozen and kill it with Skirk. Do the same for the 2nd weasel. Hope this helps.
Edit: forgot to clarify, if you are waiting out the weasel shield, wait outside the AOE radius of its attacks so you don't take any damage. Just wait and do nothing until the 5th tick.
