How to fix this lag? 🥲

If game worked perfectly before, i would says to check if for some reason your PC switched to integrated GPU card ,

if your PC has only one dedicated GPU , you could try to update your drivers.

Would help if we knew the specifications of the laptop.

All troubleshooting starts with a reboot.

On top of what everyone else is saying make sure no updates are loading up in the background, Windows is stupid like that .

Check task manager to see what might be running

Try cleaning all your cache files on your laptop since its one of the main problem that lag your game on your laptop...

Just click window key and R then type prefetch and permanently delete all of it by clicking shift delete and skip that are not automatically deleted

Do it again Click and type temp and delete all of it.

Whats ur specs?

Download GPU-Z or MSI Afterburner (GPU-Z has a portable version that doesn't require an install), open their sensors tab/page, scroll to the section with performance limits, and see what that says.

Afterburner has 4 graphs each titled Temp/Power/Voltage/No Load Limit - 3 of them will read 0, one will read 1 - while GPU-Z has a graph titled "PerfCap Reason" with the box beside the graph saying what the reason is.

Try uninstall Windows Security Update if you already had one. I had same problem too after lastest Security update a day ago. Even you run troubleshooting and check the Task manager, nothing happened. It's gone after i uninstal that sh\*tty update.
