Wanting to play agin

Hey everyone. I used to play genshin a lot and stopped playing I in the middle of 3.0. I’ve been waning to play again but when I loaded up the game the other month was overwhelmed with everything that had been added since I had stopped and was unsure where to pick up. Is it worth pushing through and getting back into the game after all this time. I loved the characters and story but feel like I’ve been gone for too long now.

yes since it's still a single player game. you don't have to rush to catch up with everyone else and play ar your own pace. focus on AQ first though

whatever AQ that is currently available for you but if you want consistency, just go like how the release went: Sumeru > Fontaine > Natlan > Nod Krai

just go through the story at your pace. you don't need to be the most up to date.

If you’re asking whether its worth it then yes, because you say you loved the story which has only gotten way better! There has been quite a bit of stuff added to make things seem overwhelming, such as new end game and such but honestly its a one player game so all that stuff can be interacted with at your own pace, hell some of it can even be completely ignored as some players do that i know. Overall tho the game hasnt really changed too much so even then, if youve played before then it won’t take you long to get use to it i think.

Don’t worry, the story ain’t that long once you take in the perspective that hsr’s amphoreus story alone takes as long as genshin’s entire story to date.
