Team building help

Hiiiiii guys

I’m returning to Genshin from a pretty long break and would like some recommendations for team building around the current meta.

Or if there are any characters I should pull.

Any tips are appreciated thank you!

imo I think if you want a decent meta team you should try a lunar bloom team with lauma. using current characters you could do lauma, sigewinne (because her being lvl 1 is criminal), yelan and either another hydro, Dendro unit. Keep in mind she will highly benefit from the new character columbina.

ofc !! I’d also recommend building Varesa eventually as she’s a stable dps and very versatile with teams !!

Yes I’ve heard from my friend that Varesas very solid character and I do plan on building her, I was super lucky on return and got her and her signature in 12 pulls!!! Thank you for all your recommendations.

Ineffa could be solid with Clorinde or Neuvi, shield and sub DPS, and works for Lunar mechanics.

Columbina too would buff Ineffa a lot in those teams, but considering C4 Clorinde maybe Furina's buffs are still better. You also have Lauma and Zhongli, so Columbina in general should be a flexible pull with several viable teams, if you'd rather prioritize her first over Ineffa.

Otherwise, just keep an eye out for new characters you like. Durin might be an upgrade to some older teams, like Xiao and Wanderer.

Oh right, teams.

- Clorinde, Furina, Fischl (Ineffa), Sucrose
- Clorinde, Chevreuse, Xiangling, Fischl
- Arle, Chev, Bennett/XL, Fischl
- Arle, Yelan, Bennett, Sucrose/Zhongli
- Neuvi, Furina, Lauma, Kuki/Zhongli/Anemo VV
- Xiao, Faruzan, Xianyun, Furina is still probably ok, especially for 2nd half of this current Abyss.

Technically yes, but she's not doing anything special, just holding VV and triggering one more Hydro reaction for Neuvi's passive. Mizuki is designed to be an on-fielder, and as a standard character she's not very good. If you like her in particular, try Mizuki, Fischl, Furina, Barbara (Proto Amber). Or Mizuki, Ineffa, Columbina(/Aino), Fischl if you want the team to be strong enough for endgame.

Thank you for all that, I don’t have an interest in her in particular, just thought it’d be a waste to not utilize an available five star. May I ask if there still any value in investing in Alhaitham and Baizhu? I have both of their signatures, I know Baizhu was never standout in the meta in particular, but Alhaitham was pretty good when I left, is that still the case?

For Baizhu, he's a pretty good healer option still, with Furina mostly. Getting one of his cons from the To Temper Thyself event is also a plus. But at least for endgame, most teams prefer full damage with minimal healing.

As for Alhaitham, at current not really. His cons aren't much upgrade (and aren't available in TTT), and while he can probably hold his own against a boss that requires Dendro (like the Crab Tsar), he's not a good general pick. Alhaitham, Lauma, Xingqiu, Kuki; would probably be his 'best' team, but mostly because Lauma buffs Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon damage a lot. Or Alhaitham, Lauma, Columbina, Sucrose; but at that point Columbina is doing more damage and getting more buffs than Alhaitham most likely. Unfortunately Quicken just hasn't received any sort of dedicated support, unlike many other archetypes have. But when they do, maybe Alhaitham will make a comeback, like Ayaka did with Escoffier's release.

Them any literally anyone can be great, but since you own Lauma you might wanna try lunar bloom, like Neuvi, Furina, Lauma, Fish
