Which to pull!? Ineffa or Columbina

I seriously need help here! Which do you think I should pull? I want both but being a broke ahh f2p, I can only pick one. I have nefer, lauma and durin (mention this one cause durin my baby boy), which do you guys think it's suitable for this team?

If you have Nefer Lauma and use them often Columbina is the easy choice. However if you want to open yourself up to more team comps you should go Ineffa.

Do you think Raiden can be a sub for ineffa? Also if furina can be a good substitute for Columbina too? The struggle of picking one is real 😭 sorry lah for asking too much

a substitute what team? in most, no, since ineffa and columbina rlly focus on lunar stuff. if you like nefer and lauma youre better off getting columbina for the both of them. you can consider ineffa if you wanna go for flins

Maiv_lah2026-01-14 02:32

Since I don't have flins n probably don't plan on having him, then don't go for ineffa? Because for me, I already got too many hydro like furina and Kokomi as support/sub-dps. I don't have electro support character besides yae miko and the other 4 star

No worries! The main draw of Ineffa is sustain via shield + enabling lunar charged at the same time, Raiden unfortunately does neither. Furina isn't that good for Nefer specifically, but she is really good in many other teams. I'm assuming you have an Aino? If you don't want to pull Bina, Nefer/Lauma/Aino/flex is a workable team. Columbina just brings it to the next level. Neither Bina or Ineffa really do anything for Durin sadly.

Dang what did my boy do to deserve this 😭 but fr tho, if I'm planning this for the long run, ineffa is a great option for putting in other teams, for Bina then for Nefer/Lauma/Bina is also a good but they for only one team. Other than that, she isn't very meta then? I think maybe ineffa could be the one

The tl;dr version is Columbina is REALLY good for lunar-centric teams, like Flins and Nefer DPS teams, but doesn't offer too much to those that don't use lunar reactions. Ineffa can perform lunar charged reactions on her own, which opens up a lot of new potential teamcomps for hydro and electro characters. So basically you'd be choosing between buffing your existing teams and having more options for new ones.

For what its worth, Columbina will also get her first rerun a lot faster than Ineffa will get her second based on past patterns, so if you skip Bina this time you'll get another shot reasonably soon. Which is a decent idea metawise because Columbina + Ineffa is going to be one of the best team comp cores in the game.

I think it through with your suggestions and I see that ineffa is a choice since as you said that bina will get her rerun soon, so for all it's worth, I can get another chance later with Bina. Thank you so much for your help 🥹 it really help me to not overthink so much, I appreciate it lah 🥹💛

For NK supports: Lauma > Ineffa > Columbina.

Columbina is basically balanced around having Lauma in the team, if you don't have Lauma and/or Ineffa, Bina is pretty bad value from the meta perspective.

This is tough, both are great options

Columbina is great for an elite Nefer/Lauma/Columbina Lunar bloom team

Ineffa gives you a little more team flexibility and it's more likely that she won't rerun anytime soon

Maiv_lah2026-01-14 02:50

Seeing that other people's suggestions on both, I really think it through and also believe ineffa is much better for this patch. Thank you for your help 🙏 it really help with not making my head explode from overthinking 🥹👍

i think ineffa will be much rarer than columbina. columbina is the equivalent of an archon for nod krai, so i think she will rerun more often than ineffa.

however, columbina enables all lunar reactions. so i think she has greater value. if you have no other chars with lunar reactions, i think it would be better to wish for her.

Maiv_lah2026-01-14 02:42

You're right lah! Ineffa got her rerun, but for Bina, she will get her rerun soon. Ineffa also is useful outside of Nod krai characters, even tho I don't have flins, that doesn't mean she can't be used, right? Or maybe I'm just talking too much 😅 sorry ya for yapping

Usual-Procedure-46922026-01-14 02:50

yeah, flins isn't needed to make ineffa useful.

arturoculo12026-01-14 02:49

i think ineffa is a better choice, because you already have a great team with lauma / nefer so adding columbina would make it elite right? but remember that genshin favors having more than 1 good team, so pull Ineffa (she won't have another rerun in longer than Columbina) and save for columbina rerun, ineffa + Columbina = great second team base, remember just an opinion you should also do the trial and pull whoever feels fun to play :)
