Should I go for Ineffa or Columbina?

Aino this is probably gonna be kinda hard to understand but my phone won't let me upload pictures so I gotta make do with what I have.

The characters I have are:

5 Stars: Nefer, Arlecchino, Dehya, Diluc, Furina, Jean, Keqing, Kokomi, Mavuika, Mona, Nahida, Qiqi, Raiden, Tighnari, Varesa, Mizuki, Zhongli,

4 Stars: Aino, Amber, Barbara, Beidou, Bennett, Candace, Charlotte, Chevreuse, Chongyun, Collei, Dahlia, Diona, Dori, Faruzan, Fischl, Gaming, Iansan, Ifa, Kachina, Kaeya, Kaveh, Kuki Shinobu, Lan Yan, Layla, Lisa, Lynette, Mika, Noelle, Ororon, Sara, Sayu, Sethos, Sucrose, Thoma, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Xinyan, Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Razor, Ningguang

I do not have Lauma or Flins

I'm asking because I only have enough primos for one 5\* and I don't know who benefits my team the most. I use Varesa and Mavuika 90% of the time if that changes anything

I can understand why you are asking cuz im sitting here for 5 minutes reading thru the characters and I still have no idea... Nefer without Lauma is tough tho...

That isnt true at all Lauma is the best bloom/hyperbloom character in the game by a universe.

Exactly, Lauma is an excellent unit without Nefer. Nefer without Lauma is what feels pepega.

Columbina seems more useful overall but you have a really weird combo of 5 stars to work with her. Missing all the pretty obvious teams.

Based on your current characters, I'd recommend Columbina to start a proper Nefer team.

Since you said you use Varesa and Mavuika 90% of the time, I'm going to assume your current main team is Varesa/Mavuika/Iansan/Chevreuse (very solid team) or Mavuika is on her own separate team. This means you need either one or two more teams for most endgame content (two teams for Spiral Abyss, three teams for Stygian Onslaught Menacing-Dire).

A Nefer team would be good for this case. You can wish for Columbina this patch and skip her weapon banner (her sig is barely an increase over R5 Prototype Amber at C0 and has higher ER requirements), then save for eventual Lauma rerun.

If you happen to not like Nefer for any reason and would like Flins, maybe consider getting Ineffa this patch and Flins in his upcoming rerun. You will probably have to go either Columbina/Lauma for Nefer team or Ineffa/Flins (not enough primos to get all 4 characters), so choose carefully.

I guess I should've mentioned my most used teams huh 😅🤦‍♀️?
Varesa, Mavuika, Xilonen, Kokomi

Nefer, Nahida, Furina, Kokomi

And sometimes I switch around with Nahida and Raiden but it's usually those characters at the core.

I'm thinking if I get Ineffa that I could do Varesa, Ineffa, Furina, Kokomi

If I get Columbina, I could do
Nefer, Nahida Columbina, Furina.

I don't really know which of these theoretical teams is better

Ah, I see! I'd actually just swap Furina and Kokomi around in your plans so Furina is for Varesa and Kokomi is for Nefer. Furina's damage bonus doesn't affect lunar damage, so I wouldn't recommend her with any Nod Krai DPS. Kokomi can provide the necessary heals in the Nefer team, while her heals are not very needed when playing Varesa with Xilonen. Xilonen's heals should be enough for Furina.

To be honest, if your only plans are to pull Ineffa for Varesa in a lunar/electro-charged, I would just not pull Ineffa lol. Your current Varesa team (if you swap Kokomi for Furina) is already good enough, plus you have many options for alternate team comps and already the ability to make a separate Varesa and Mavuika team. You should probably utilize your 4 star characters more instead of making 5 star only teams, and then more team possibilities will open up.

If you were to pull both Ineffa and Columbina, that would be a different story since Bineffa is one of the best team archetypes now and the ultimate wheelchair. But you aren't, so I would still recommend Columbina over Ineffa for the Nefer team.

Sample teams you could make:

1. Varesa/Mavuika/Xilonen/Furina
2. Varesa/[Mavuika or Bennett]/Chevreuse/Iansan
3. Mavuika/Xilonen/Furina/flex (Sucrose/anemo for res shred recommended)
4. Nefer/Columbina/Nahida/Kokomi (can swap Kokomi or Nahida (recommend swapping Kokomi) for Lauma later)

Edit: if you're really set on Ineffa for Varesa, then I guess skipping Columbina and saving for Lauma for Nefer is also a valid option since Lauma is a bigger priority for Nefer than Columbina + Columbina will prob have a rerun before 7.X

So new team options:

4. Varesa/Ineffa/Xilonen/Furina

5. Nefer/Nahida/Kokomi/wait for Lauma

Judging your 5*, columbina is a better choice but just by a little. Both are solid but i think columbina could help more. But its a weird combo of characters which tells me you really pull for who you like in which case i say go for the one you like the most
