The way he goes from a mad man who trying to kill everyone to a sane man feels kind sudden.

This should happen after we fight him as second weekly boss.

I dunno. I guess I get that it’s a pretty drastic switch up, but at the same time, he’d basically been locked in a dimensional prison, unable to do anything other than think. Add in the shock of seeing Dain again, and seeing >!Tholindis’s soul!<, and I buy that being enough for him to have a realization.

Like Rerir was still a bastard, but at the same time, he fell for pretty “noble” reasons compared to Gold or Fraudlogi.

But he is still a bastard. He shouldnt be redeem so easily earlier on. It's too quick. One patch of AQ shouldnt be able to wash away hundred of years of trauma and sorrowness. We arent in Disneyland

He’s not redeemed though. Dudes just thoroughly broken, and decided to toss a little help Columbina’s way so he could hopefully get some closure with Tholindis. *If* he comes back, he’d still have a lot of work to do before anybody would consider him redeemed.

other than working for the King in the past, most he did when resurrected is almost the less or same scale as Scaramouche's revenge moment. Wild hunt activities were mostly circumstances of his shred souls and dottore's mechanism

i think the problem isn't that he switched up so quickly, but that he was a threat only for two patches. his arc, including this moment, is really cool on paper, but feels like they speedran it. if he was a constant threat of several patches, then showed up like this after a while, it would be much better pacing
