Homie, you need to relax. Nobody’s forgiven Rerir, and he’s not even close to a good guy. He just got burned out and realized “maybe I’m responsible for my own fuckups”. That’s it. *If* he comes back, he still has a lot of work to do to redeem himself.

Tholindis literally explained what happened to her. She wanted to “fix” things, but the moon gate killed her. She’s just a soul now. Maybe we’ll get more of her when Rerir returns, maybe we won’t. We’ll see if Hoyo wants to give those two idiot lovebirds a happy ending.
