I realized if you skip every weapon banner, you buy only the monthly welkin which is 4 dollar you can get every single character 🤩there will be bad days and good days but all together you get everyone if you save only for characters. Since Natlan I didn’t have to skip anyone.

And still have enough for white horse but still map to discover and still many event just be strong and skip weapon banners

but you still need savings, so I am not in 0, still have 150 pulls in saved and new area and events will give the same amount. so if from now I will lose everything and get characters after 80 pulls I can still get every character if I do not wish on weapon banners

If you'll lose 50/50 on both characters in a patch with all of them at pity it's 300 pulls. While a full patch gives \~90-110.
You can get every character only if you are really lucky. I am at 1200 pulls saved and even with this I won't try that.

You need some decent luck too.

But my biggest issue here is how the heck do you manage to upgrade and build all of them? I’m a dolphin and usually get less than half the characters, and yet I still struggle to get enough mora and artifacts for everyone.

It's not true because it's based on luck. The monthly pass give you 18-19 pulls (3000/160 = 18,75). You can accumulate enough to make pulls to reach 90 (something less) but to win many 50/50 at low pity it's only casual. I saw account with only green pulls, and a lot of accounts with all red pulls with many 50/50 lost.

In Natlan I was lucky, considering I was a F2P (I started to buy the monthly pass from Nod-Krai). I got Xilonen (with 2 constellations), Mavuika, Citlali, Mizuki (with few pulls before I discovered that she would be in the standard banner), Varesa, Escoffier, Skirk, Shenhe. I pulled even Mavuika and Skirk weapons.

From Nod-Krai I bought the monthly pass and at the moment I pulled Lauma and Nefer (+ her weapon). Now I have 29K primos + 19 pulls. I'll go for Columbina and then I'll see because I like all the characters, but I already know that to get everything is impossible. I'll try Zibai for the new reaction if I'll have the pulls for her and the next banner didn't have some characters I really want like Alice or Nicole.

I agree that these gacha games have to make a system where if you buy the monthly pass (and maybe the battle pass) you can get every characters. If you start from zero and buy the genesis crystal, you can spend 400$ (more in Europe) to get 1 copy of a character (40 pulls for 6480 genesis pack x 4 pack) if your luck is low. It's not normal to pay 400$ for character. At least for the first copy make it easy to everyone, then if whales want to be the best they can spent what they want. I saw a video of a guy that wasted 2.200€ to get C6R5 Varesa.

I kinda agree with you, but your luck is WAY above average.

If those posts with "primos per patch" are to be trusted, welkin-players usually get around 100-120 wishes per patch, depending on content. And new character introductions are around 11 in 9 patches. On average, you'll need slightly less than 100 wishes to get a limited character, so you should barely come together if you are average.

That said - there are tons of people who have like 10% of winning 50/50, and 74 average pulls, and it's not even THAT unlikely.

Honestly, looking at your history, I'm super envious. 56 average pity, with an average 50/50 win ratio... it is SUPER lucky!

I am at 17% 50/50 and 81 average pulls. At 148 pulls per rate up average, it ain't remotely possible with my luck. OP being really lucky is not the norm.

On the other hand, your luck is ABNORMALLY bad. Average pulls at 81 is monstrosity that i never before saw on the internet, ever.

Reaching 81 pulls in a session already have only around 9% chance of occuring. Not that unlikely - everyone have several of those... But to reach an average of that you not only need never pulled earlier than 79 or something, but also have a several 84 or something along those lines...

Are you sure it's not 71 average pulls? 71 is already unlucky enough, you know!

It used to be worse (actual bottom 0.01%), but a 74 and a 79 has improved the numbers a little. I have far far too many 80+ for it to be just 9% chance 👀

There was much worse period before just currently little better
And by long term you get back wishes
Like now spent 120’wish for Columbina and I got back 10 wish because c6 -4 stars
So it was just 110 wish
Longer you play the game will be cheaper and easier to get everyone

which is pretty close to 50/50.

my record, with about 4000 life time pulls on the character event, has 42.86% percent win with pity average of 57.67.

Not true. If u don't get earlies or have bad 50/50 luck it's not possible. I used to get welkin but i lost almost every 50/50. I still had to strategically skip characters. I realised it's not worth it so i stopped getting welkin.

Me too there is time when you lose everything. I have 101. Characters almost all of them and I had to skip a few because I made a mistake and wished for weapons. There was 2 years when I lost everything and never get any character before 72 wish
You can be super unlucky but this is 1:1million

Not quite. You still have to get lucky a few times. I’d say it’s closer to like 80-90% of characters with just Welkin.

I’ve had a welkin only alt account since launch, and my main also buys Welkin every patch. I only top up on main for weapons and constellations, and I keep track of my pulls so I know where my genesis crystals go.

On alt: Went into Natlan with about 60 pulls saved up. Since then all the way up to this patch, by 100% exploring all of Natlan + first Nod Krai expansion, I’ve been able to get:

Dehya (46), Mualani (38), Diluc (80), Xilonen (76), Chasca (67), Citlali (65), Tighnari (76), Mavuika (26), Clorinde (81), Diluc (2), Mizuki (75), Varesa (81), Escoffier (78), Skirk (68), Dehya (84), Ineffa (75), Lauma (77), Flins (76), Mona (7), Nefer (82), Durin (79), Mizuki (79), and Columbina (77). I have 30 pulls left going into 6.3 with none of the new area explored.

As you can see, without some real lucky low pulls and 50/50 wins, I wouldn’t have been able to get as many characters as I have. I skipped Kinich but traded him for Clorinde on that account, so that technically evens it out.

My main account has also been mostly cruising by since Fontaine (last time I specifically topped up for a C0 character was Navia), but I am also cutting it close with Zibai. I have literally zero pulls left going into 6.3 after getting Columbina so if I lose the next 50/50 I need to top up for a character for the first time in 2 years. And my alt is also on a 50/50 with Zibai as well so I am kinda cooked.
