Just wanna say, Noelle's geo infusion procs lunar crystalize faster than other geo units so theres that.

And your build is fine I guess? Just more crit rate and cd without losing much hp% to keep her buffs at max.

PAmber, unless the rest of the team is pretty energy hungry, in which case they become pretty similar.

Replace Kokomi 100%. If you need a sustain for the Nefer team, then replace Nahida with someone like Kuki.

And yes, keep her on SMS.

In a Nefer team, it'd be around 170%, assuming no Fav weapons on the team. [This](https://www.reddit.com/r/Columbina_Mains/s/WNgAZ9QFJ7) post has a full graph showing the various ER reqs for her (on slide 11), so you can look at that to see it for yourself.

Nope, it is just that... Imagine having Furina but your only built team is hyperbloom, which doesnt get affected by her dmg bonus buff

Columbina with Ineffa is currently the best wheelchair duo in the game in the sense that you can put basically anything on the other two slots and it will be fine.

Columbina alone tho... Not as much, she is a buffer that needs someone to buff or else she is just ok.

Need an ELI5 here. So, If I read, understand it right, Columbina alone will make Electro-Charged, Bloom, or Hydro-Crystallize reaction into the Lunar one. And her ult is domain expansion that buff Lunar reaction. So why do guides say her best team is one with Ineffa, Lauma, or Flins? My one cell brain kinda think slap her with Raiden and I get Lunar-Charged? Of which get buffed with her ult? Am I misunderstanding something here?

The same reason why Bloom and Taser teams aren't really viable in endgame. The reaction alone doesn't do much damage, it's the 5\* characters dealing Lunar-reaction-type damage that is good, and receives more value from those buffs.

It works fine for normal play, but endgame isn't going to be too easy with just a little extra reaction damage and only Columbina's Lunar-reaction-type damage.

Lunar-charged alone is kinda eh. It's just electro-charged but a little buffed.

So sure, you get a Lunar-charging Raiden. That's just... not a thing you really want or need. Meanwhile the Nod-Krai 5-stars actually have ways to deal those those Lunar reactions baked *directly* into their kits, so they benefit a lot more from her buffs.

It's mostly the Lunar reactions by themselves not actually being that strong. Lunar Charged by itself isn't significantly better than Electro-Charged.

Part of the reason the other NK Nod-Krai units are so effective with them isn't the Lunar reactions themselves, but how much power the rest of their kit then gives to those (lunar) reactions.

A non-Lunar character like Raiden typically doesn't do that much with Electro-Charged damage. Columbina will still buff their Electro-Charged into (buffed) Lunar-Charged damage, but on the overall damage output that doesn't change too much.

Meanwhile, for dedicated Lunar characters like Flins or Ineffa the Lunar-Charged damage is a big part of their damage output. And therefore they have a lot more to benefit from Columbina further boosting Lunar damage.

It'd be dependant on which one accumulated more gravity for her, which means it'll typically be lunar-bloom since you won't be triggering lunar-charged too much in the team.

Yes, she'll provide the extra stacks for Nefer. It even allows you to use hold skill on Lauma for extra stacks of her buff.

The EM buffs are good, but it's also a matter of reducing the amount of normal Blooms that are triggered so that Lauma's burst 'quills' are used on Columbina's damage (where they benefit from Columbina's crit value) and not normal blooms (which don't).

Hello guys, so I need some clarification on whether capturing radiance will trigger for me or not so I can plan my pulls as it's my first time losing this much in a row. As of now, I've lost my 3rd(?) 50/50 in a row.

Here's who I got starting from Xilonen rerun:
Keqing -> Xilonen -> Qiqi -> Columbina -> Jean -> (then use my guarantee on Ineffa).

After this, will I trigger the capturing radiance mechanic? As such, I'll be guaranteed to get a limited character next time whenever I pull again (like let's say Nicole)?

Yes, you should have it guaranteed for the next 5 star after Ineffa.

Note that if you were to get a double now (small chances, but always possible) you would use up both guarantees at once (and get a C1). If you want to keep the second guarantee for a different character, doing single pulls until Ineffa would avoid that risk. (Small risks, but every chance counts.)

Hey, was looking for some guidance for who to pull for, and if either of these two are good pulls to get or if i should wait until X character on an upcoming banner. I've played the game on and off since 2022 but never used wishes to gain characters for some reason, so despite being AR55 i don't have that many... particularly not many good ones anyway. My current team is Flins, Furina, Zhongli and Bennett/sometimes traveller or kaeya depending on opponents. i sort of only have about 8 characters i can actually play with because the rest have never been levelled up.

Anyway any help/advice would be much appreciated!!!

Columbina enables lunar reactions for electro-charge, dendro bloom and geo crystallize. Ineffa enables shielding and lunar electro-charge.

Strictly speaking, Columbina is the better option here. Ineffa is awesome (I have her and love her) but Columbina can turn any geo, dendro or electro character into a lunar reaction character, essentially meaning you can use an already built character to perform those reactions instead of needing to pull and invest in a new character.

Ineffa is, again, awesome, and providing both a shield and strong damage is great. She's an awesome off-field electro support dps. But I think Columbina is just the better option between the two, especially if you have no other Nod-Krai characters.

I have Flins at lv 80 and Jahoda c2 i believe, but i only levelled her up to about 31 atm because i got lan yan who i preferred at the time. if i pull for columbina and put her in a team with Flins and Zhongli (the only dendro i own is collei who is lv 1 lol and tighnari who is lv 50 so i never use dendro) is that a good team with jahoda? or anyone else? or if i had flins and jahoda in a team is it better for Ineffa. Sounds like columbina is my better option, but if i manage to get enough pulls after getting her maybe ill go for Ineffa too.

Yeah, it's a pretty good time. The beginning of the game is still weak in some areas, but they've been making some nice QoL improvements to help smooth things out.

As an example, just this update, they added a new menu for quests to help make things easier to manage on that front.

It's always a good time because you can just play the game as an open world rpg with years worth of story. The important part imo is not letting fomo get to you. Like, avoiding the feeling of ''reaching'' the older players. To truly enjoy this game you have to enjoy the journey and not rush to the current point.

No. Guarantees don't stack. If you pulled Columbina, which is a win, you will go back to 50/50.

Example:

You're missing that they have lost enough to get Captured Radiance.

After the Columbina (the regular guarantee) they would be on 50/50, but due to Radiance they are now also guaranteed to win that 50/50.

Yes, but that latest 50/50 will guarantee rhe limited character anyway. You didn't take capturing radiance into account. OP already lost three times in a row so CR will trigger after the guaranteed pull, saving them if that pull is another loss.

Your next 5-star is guaranteed from the Diluc loss.

The 5-star after that is guaranteed to be Radiance from the 3x losses.

If you want to keep the 2d guarantee for a different character, possibly worth doing single pulls. Otherwise there's a small chance you'd use up both (on a C1) if you get a double.

With some lucky pulls, I ended up with Columbina, her weapon, and Ineffa. I was thinking of making a team with them and maybe fischl and sucrose. Or would I be better off with a second hydro instead of electro?

Also, what would be the better artifact sets for each of them? And for Ineffa's weapon, I was trying to decide between ballad of the fjords or staff of Scarlet sands. Any thoughts? I also may just pull for Ineffa weapon since I got the fate point for it, but I'll need about 4k more primo first.

She's just OK. Too much Dendro application so she'll almost never trigger Lunar EC (losing most of her DPS). So she's just a shielder, some slow/weak off field DPS, and ~~the sig weapon team buff~~. All of that is good and other options for flex are all equally mid, but nothing game breaking that would warrant spending 160 wishes on.

Does anyone need to be using it? That's the cost of wishing on weapon banner when you only want 1 weapon and why people recommend not doing it unless you already have a plan/home for each possibility. Too often it becomes a sunk cost fallacy where then they HAVE to keep pulling on weapon banner to not waste Fate point and HAVE to wish for a character they initially didn't want to find a home for a weapon. And then don't have wishes for what they do want in a patch or three. Note, both of these "HAVE TOs" are just psychological, not actual forced decisions.

Either way, it's a CD with some %ATK stat stick. And just double checked, I thought it gave team lunar DMG, but it's only Lunar Charged, making it even less relevant for Nefer team.

If you did, then you would have found out these answers ahead of time. I answered your questions based on what you asked (is Ineffa worth for Nefer, no). Your second question is vague with no helpful info. I don't even know what Polearm characters you have or use or what weapons they are already using. You can read the stat lines just as well as me to see what the weapon does. CD and %ATK so probably a character that likes those stats. I hope I don't need to list who those characters are.

Not Qiqi. Jean can heal and swirl, Tignari is ranged dps, Diluc can work as a dps for you early on in your account, Mona is more of a buffer, Keqing can work and her skill is nice for exploration( short range teleport that can be aimed). Dehya is a defensive option that you may want to skip for now, Mizuki is on field driver for elemental reactions.

Mona is good with recent buffs. But you need to get those buffs (not sure what the requirements are) and use a second buffed character in a team.

Whatever you do, just dont pick Qiqi. In short for others:

Dehya- Good sustain, off field pyro, no damage at all till higher cons

Tighnari- Dendro, Charge atk bow, probably the best main DPS out of these

Keqing- Pretty outdated Electro MDPS, Skill allows teleport so that helps you cheese some puzzles, her constelations are bad, she is better with dendro for aggravate but on the low end of damage

Mizuki- Really bad damage, some heals, can fly, Anemo. Pretty bad pick but has utility.

Diluc- Claymore Pyro DPS, totaly outdated without constelations or plunging, tho he works in a pinch, he has nothing except damage tho, most "vanilla" unit here, you get what it says on the tin.

Qiqi- Heals, Heals and more heals, skill on 30sec cooldown, you wont die with her but you also will deal NO damage ever. Worst pick here since she is pretty useless as soon as you are out of early game.

Jean: Anemo, Can abuse fall damage, full party heal on burst (which is very valuable), solid pick for a good support character that works later in game too.

Mona: Catalyst, Hydro, recently got a buff if paired with other Hexenzirkeln characters, can run on water for a short time, not really that good at C0 tho but she can be used as a buffer or to facilitate reactions and only gets better with constelations.

Now you do you, but Id pick between Jean, Mona and Tighnari (maaaaybe Dehya because she does have her uses, just not actually killing enemies.), I suggest you read up on the characters online and choose that way, dont worry the selector doesnt expire.

For sites about builds you can check "KeqingsMains" they have easy to understand guides for characters.

At least Columbina is a straight upgrade for Aino in Nefer/Flins team so she has value just for that alone. But for Nefer Lauma is the more important pull and Flins prefers Ineffa but value-wise same same.

Other people are playing through that part of the game using a team of the free starting characters. Your team building is absolutely not the problem if you're running into trouble, your account is loaded. Noelle is a fine early game main DPS.

The dude you met him first on the island docks (he has a ! bubble), he sell Natlan knick knacks there but after that interaction he moves to near a map unlock point, with elevator platforms. He will then sell NK flowers including Columbina's.

For the chest IDK, I just go around farming flowers and run into it :<

I really like using Lisa and Mona and doing electrocharged with them, but i heard that Lisa is not that good and not worth building. Ive heard that Xiangling is the most worth it.

This is the team i currently use the most: Lisa, Mona, Sucrose, Xiangling

And if i choose to "main" Lisa for now idk if I should use Mona or Barbara for her. I like Monas gameplay more, but then Barbara literally keeps me alive. Can I use them both in a team, is two hydros too much?

Well if you really want to then Nefer + Lauma + Bina + Aino is one. Also Flins + Ineffa + Bina + Jahoda.

Thing is the level 2 moon buffs actually beneficial to have non-NK members for stats-based bonus so it is still better to run 2 NK + 2 non-NK.

ineffa is typically on the new lunar set for maximising her off-field damage. Columbina uses serenade when she´s off-field, night sky if she´s played as carry on-field.

What the wheelchaired on-fielder uses? Heavily depends on who it is. Some can use night sky, some shouldn´t.

Hello everyone. I'm a Zhongli main, I use him in almost all of my teams and he's my favourite character.

My question to you is since Columbina has been released (and I had the great fortune of getting her at soft pity), would playing DPS Zhongli be viable? (bc of lunar crystallize) If yes, which teams can I formulate to do so? I'm completely f2p and I play for fun, I've never pulled on the weapon banner.

My C0 Zhongli is already on a sort of sub-DPS build. He has the Blackcliff Pole since that's the only 4 star polearm with a crit substat that I could find, 4pc glad and all talents at 10. I will pull for the Staff of Homa when Hu Tao gets a rerun.

Any thoughts or advice regarding teams, weapons, artifacts, etc? Please note that I am not concerned with the meta. I only play and pull for the characters I like.

Definitely don't lose Deepwood. If you are using Columbina on-field (which you should in this team for CAs) she should try to be on Night Sky, and Yelan probably swaps to her Silken set.

Yeah, generally speaking. As long as they hit from off-field semi regularly. If you're on-fielding Ayato with Bina off-field, Night Sky won't work, so you'd prefer Aubade (new set) in that case, but you're losing a lot of CA damage doing that

You don't need Ineffa then, but you still shouldn't go for a weapon unless you have 150+ pulls to guarantee the weapon you want, especially since you don't have Ineffa to make the other weapon very useful. (It's an ok statstick, but don't pull for statsticks. And you could always lose to standard instead.)

My teams are:
Mavuika - Furina - Xilonen - Bennet/Iansan
Varessa - Chev - Iansan - Mavuika/Xiangling
Nefer - Sucrose - Columbina - Yaoyao
(Extra characters: Mona, Keqing, C3 Fishcl and a Unbuilt Rosaria)
I can't clear endgame content, Nefer damage is 2/5 of her damage with lauma, I've no Citlali for melt and, since my account is new (Played 5.3, 6.1 -> Now), My artifacts are trash, I've no good stat stick weapons from standard pull nor event weapons for my Mavuika and Varessa (Seriously genshin, would it kill to have a "Herta Shop" for past event weapons ?)

So: Should I pull Ineffa? To play something akin to Columbina, Ineffa, Mona/Fischl/Sucrose
Or should I save and wait for Lauma and MAYBE get her C1

Is there any must have new characters? Ive recently been trying to play the game after leaving in 5.2. I only have Durin and Flins atm. I have a decent number of characters besides them though

Some characters Ive thought about getting are venti, citlali, mav, skirk, ineffa, and columbina. I was on the fence but maybe Clorinde and Shenhe but prob wouldn't be good anymore.

If you have Flins, get Ineffa. If you really want Columbina, she's less of an increase for him, but can also have some fun with other reactions outside endgame.

Venti, wait until Varka comes out to see if he works well enough there. Shenhe is decent but not great for Skirk, but Escoffier is the priority before Shenhe. Mav+Citlali is still good, but tricky to play and no longer way ahead of the competition (incl Mav Overload with optimal gameplay), and Clorinde has some surprisingly decent teams if you relaly like her, but not an 'optimal' or 'meta' pull

If you get Ineffa, replace one of your Neuvi supports with Ineffa and have a functional Lunar team.

Cons and sigs, most of the Natlan or later ones have good ones, but you shouldn't go for them if you want so many chars.

Running columbina on 4pc moon's serenade, nefer on 4pc night of sky's, lauma on 4pc deepwood and kuki on the new aubade set just for the off field lunar dmg bonus, was running her on millelith before. I have recently come back to genshin, mainly because of columbina.

As of right now, i am on the 2nd sumeru questline (the samsara one).
Should i just keep playing through the story as normal, or quick start to nod krai.

Sumeru's story is pretty important to Nod Krai, so I'd make an effort to finish Act 5 and the interlude Inversion of Genesis at a minimum. After that, you could choose to skip ahead, but you'll still be missing several callbacks to Fontaine side content and Natlan content, and the next interlude Paralogism in Mondstadt.

Nod Krai is basically all about tying up loose plot threads and calling back to old stuff, so skipping to it makes it less impactful imo. But you do you, maybe getting a tease from NK might make you want to go back later.

Where are the save points for the Archon Quests? Normally I love reading every bit of scrap paper, reading/listening to all the dialogue enjoying the beautiful scenery in Genshin but I just can’t with this Archon quest. I played for close to 3 hours and by the end I was just frantically mashing the skip dialogue button desperate to be out of what felt like a never ending cut scene.

When can you quit?? I didn’t want to quit and then be forced to endure the same scenes again and again so I played until my original team showed up and took my chance then to exit even though I was still in story mode.

Are there obvious save points I’m missing? There must be, right?

Every loading screen is a save point, when you change from one location/perspective to another. (Most even have a new Saving icon in the bottom right) And any time you can freely walk around you can hit Esc and leave the quest.

hey! I'm pretty much I missed so much genshin time but my last play for genshin is sumeru archon quest. Heard there's a lot of region now to unlock and play the quest. Currently just focus on ascending my character for the spiral abyss and the mondstat abyss thingy but what should focus on? The 6.2 version of the spiral abyss is driving me crazy. I only unlocked till Fontaine because I got arlecchino (forgive my spelling because idk). I came back to genshin because of Nefer and yes I'm saving for her. Any guide on who should I go focus first

Also, spiral abyss floor 12 is insanely hard. Heard there's a new reaction that can finish it insane. Well the first one appears to have a Pyro DMG bonus and the enemies are the cyro abyss mage are the ones is difficult. Well you see I have

Arlecchino(DPS), Kazuha (Support for grouping), Yelan(Sub DPS) and Yaoyao (Dendro Reaction).

well, I'm not sure it's works but because I don't have a shielder to protect my arlecchino but I brought a healer instead so my team wouldn't get cooked easily without heal. Any guides on the first half.

On the other hand, the second half is the one that makes me crazy, you need a character that has good plunge DMG but I only have Xiao but he is slow in terms of getting his ER fast as he relys more on atk so yeah,

You'll just have to give up on the abyss this time. It will reset tomorrow and you don't have enough time to completely rebuild your teams, especially when you don't seem to have any of the newer characters. The abyss buff is also for off field pyro damage, so Arlecchino does not even benefit from it.

Also Yaoyao is useless in that Arlecchino team. She can't be healed in combat other than when using her burst so Yaoyao brings nothing there.

Since you want Nefer, save your primogems for Lauma. Modern dps usually comes in pairs and Nefer wants Lauma a lot.

The problem with Yelan is she's single-target Hydro app, which doesn't work well for the AoE check. I'd honestly use Xiangling instead, or Bennett for more buffs. And if you have 2 Pyros and Kazuha, you should have no issues with the last boss, so drop Yaoyao as well for a shield if you need it, or the other of XL/Bennett. (Bennett with Xiao I'm guessing?)

As for side 2, kinda rough yeah. If your Xiao can't cut it, and you don't have anyone that can brute force it well, not sure what you can do. Zhongli (or Geo Traveler) can give you something to climb and plunge off, so if you have a strong enough 3-unit team maybe that works.

Is every 5 star guaranteed a story quest? And what are the chances a 5 star gets a story quest several patches after their release? I'm hoping for a nefer or lauma sq and I just want to make sure it's within the realm of possibility.

The trend for this patch was to make the SQ a part of the AQ. So Lauma's story was explored in Act 1, Nefer in Act 4 (much to people's disappointment). There's a *chance* they get a SQ 'part 2' later like Yoimiya did, but so far it's only Yoimiya. Also, the Meeting Points almost count as Story Quests for the characters too.

Keep. Restarting has no benefit. I heard they give a standard 5 star to new players. But that is not really a benefit considering your roster.

Imaginarium Theater is a character count check. You'll need them there.

Restart is basically never worth it. You currently have stuff, your new account would have nothing.

The only supposed benefit is maybe getting slightly better value with the pulls from permanent content (pulling modern characters with them instead), but that's not going to make up for the massive losses from the months/years of resin, dailies, events and other stuff you can't recover on the new account.

By the time your new account gets to where you are now, it'll always be in worse shape than your current one is.

Hi, I currently have a pull counter of 0 pulls with Capturing Radiance active. I have saved 170 pulls. Would I have enough pulls to guarantee a Varka when he is released if I pull Columbina?

Probably. About 100 pulls from this patch, assuming you haven't already done the AQ and most of the exploration, you should be fine.

I do see that someone on the team would have Silken, though i'm currently running Ineffa with Gilded Dreams. I don't want to invest in multiple sets of Silkens with different main stats if possible. Is there anything I should be doing or is it just easiest to get Silken for Columbina?

You'll eventually want both.

Go ahead and farm Silken first. You definitely want someone wearing Serenade, so no reason not to have multiple copies of it with various mainstats.

Even Night's Sky could be useful if you end up using Columbina or Ineffa as on-field. Or if it's a quick swap team, one of them can wear Night's Sky just to activate the team wide 10% Lunar DMG buff every few seconds (buff only lasts 4s) and the CR will help their personal damage.

Once happy enough with Silken, should probably transition to farming Morningstar. One of them should probably wear it and it should be big enough upgrade for either of them. I'd just let RNG decide who wears what. If you find lots of good %ATK pieces on Serenade and %HP on Morningstar, then that decides who wears what. Plus the new Hexi set will be very good on Venti.

Other teammates will likely be Sucrose on VV+Flex. Flex could be Fischl, Varessa, Neuvilette, Bennett, Nahida something like that, all who have better sets to be wearing. Or maybe Venti+Fischl? Will be very content dependent.

Both of Silken and Aubade? Or a Silken that works for Ineffa and Columbina's stat spreads since those are the only Lunars I got other than Aino? I don't think the Night Sky at least will be useful since I doubt Columbina and Ineffa will be doing much on-field work without their personal weapons or more constellation...

And sounds like you're saying I should also get the A Day Carveds for Venti?

And you mentioned a bunch of people who have better sets to be wearing - you mean giving them new artifacts that just came out? I assume not since I don't see such recommendations on keqing. Should I be using keqingmains to look up stats to go for still?

By the way, sounds like you're pitching a team for Columbina, Ineffa, Sucrose, and the Flex slot. Is it still worth going for Lauma and Nefer in the future to go with Columbina? Or is that not a particularly big deal?

1 will likely want to wear Silken, the other Aubade. Night's Sky can still work even without Con or Weapon. The CR is just too good to pass up on a DPS character. Like if the team was Ineffa/Columbina/Sucrose/Fischl, there's no reason Ineffa can't be on field semi-regularly. But if you were doing Varessa or Neuvilette, that on-fielder would need too much uninterrupted on-field time to switch to Ineffa to keep buff up.

No, I'm saying they have much better sets to be wearing instead of Serenade. I wasn't implying anything beyond that. Sucrose wearing VV, etc. Someone should be wearing Serenade, but it likely wont be your other 2 team slots meaning it has to be either Ineffa or Columbina.

You only have 1 Columbina (meaning it's hard to make multiple simultaneous Lunar teams since each really wants Columbina). And you have Ineffa. So I'm pitching the teams you can make with the characters you have that are already great together. Future pulls should probably focus on improving the Ineffa+Columbina core, but that's up to your discretion.

TTODS is fine if the on field character is Atk scaling. Otherwise Favonius.

You don't really need a healer since Ineffa already have a shield. Doubly so if your Columbina uses Proto Amber.

It all depends, but sucrose is a must choice here.

If you're on-fielding ineffa with night sky, then your best 4th slot is c6 ( must be c6 ) Sara. But since you have to swap *from* Sara for buff, you can't proc ttds. So I'd use an em weapon (preferably nahida's sig) for sucrose.

You can also choose Bennet which allows you to use ttds with sucrose.

If you don't plan to on-field either columbina or ineffa, then I won't suggest sucrose. For units like hutao which has 0 icd for charged attacks, you risk doing too many pyro, getting rid of lunar charge, which trashes your wheelchair. To fix this, you'd have to go with a hydro applicator rather than sucrose.

You can use fischl too. for the 180 em buff and will recommend ttds for sucrose more because you'll be overflowing with em otherwise. Downside of this though, is you'll only buff 1 character. And since columbina doesn't make use of atk, you'll have to build ineffa with night sky, to make use of her being on field.

Edit: do take note that the 4th slot is easily flins because the team *is* his premium. You can also use nefer with nefer/lauma/ineffa/columbina as the technically second best build for them.

not much point asking if you dont say what you have
most things that arent dendro or cryo
could work out with Columbina and Ineffa
depending who it is, you might still replace that Sucrose
like a pyro dps and Bennett
that Keqing is good is good as is.
Xiao, id still consider Xianyun if you have her

if the current set or character's personal damage isnt that high
you can also put the NK dps set on them, for 30% crit rate, 80 EM, and also increasing that Lunar charge

You can use hydro traveler as 4th slot, never switch to it and reach 110k DPS. As far as I've heard of atleast. But if you *do* want to on field the 4th slot, a great 4th slot would be someone that isn't reliant on the team for atk% buff, which is hutao. To clear up possible misunderstandings, the risk of getting rid of reactions with hutao Is at c1, because at c0, you can't effectively attack quick, because you'd be draining stamina. You also have her talent which buffs crit rate for the entire team (except her) by 12%.

The only catch is, being a victim of 'being an old character', hutao is just not a great unit overall, and *maybe* (haven't checked yet, might do once I get columbina) you'll get better results with just using support for 4th slot and on-fielding ineffa. Hutao is not a bad option at all though, and *if* (hoping with all my heart) the liyue buffs are true, and hutao gets buffed, maybe a team comp with her will get more attention.

Since I don't have columbina myself (yet), I cannot go through all characters to test which ones are good options, but people should eventually test it themselves and discover decent 4th slot on fielders. But so far as I see it, hutao is the only choice worth looking into (other than arle but she's more of a new character so,)

Want Illuga but want to save for Varka. Need help

Hello newer player here (F2P for the most part)
I was planning on skipping the banners in the current update to save my wishes for Big Man Varka.
However when I was playing the world quests in the new Nod Krai Island and met Illuga (a character i had 0 interest in before hand) I started to really like him and found his story of survivors guilt really powerful and now I really want him in my roster.

However Im guaranteed to get a limited character as my next 5 star after I lost my 50/50 for Venti (I'm still mad) and I don't care at all for the new Adeptus lady and while Neuvelette seems like a cool character and i like his design I really don't know enough about him (I pull for who I like lore and story wise rather than gameplay wise if you can't tell)

I really want Varka and I don't want to risk pulling a 5 star i don't really want while trying for Illuga and missing out Varka due to Qiqi ruining my 50/50 (haven't had that fate yet but I'm not looking forward to it)

Any advice???

Hoyolab share icon doesn't work like you expect. It only shares 12 characters you manually select there as you didn't select any it doesn't show anything. Better way is either do a screenshot or use the share button there to generate the image and then use imgur to share the image.

Notable 4* are Fischl, Xiangling and Gaming.

Fischl is good sub DPS and offfield electro applicator.
Xiangling same but pyro. Gaming is main plunge pyro DPS who at C6 is even stronger than some 5* at C0.

Looking at the standard characters you have. Jean have some use in end game - there are some cheese strategies that sometimes pop out using fall damage. And she can be used with Furina to build fan fair as she provide team wide healing using her burst.

Other two are main DPS which will be good for some time, but will get replaced once you get some limited 5* main DPS.

About traveler - right now pyro is his best version, followed by dendro. Other are kinda bad.

Note: I see you have 3 standard characters and no limited. So I will mention this just to be safe. Don't use primogems to wish on standard banner.

Your roster is still pretty small. If you want a working team of 4, my suggestion would be keqing/fischl/collei/ifa. If you only want to build good ones that are relevant for end game contents, you should then build Fischl and Gaming (maybe Jean and Kaeya).

Ive been playing this game on and off for about 4-5 ish years (since version 1.5 or 1.6 I think) and I’ve made it to AR42. I was wondering what I should focus on. Do I just finish the main story for each region or do I focus on building my characters? I got characters like Zhongli, Hu Tao, Columbina, Neuvillette, Albedo, and few standard banners 5 stars. I only have Hu Tao level 70 and the rest are only level 40-50.
