Me, my currently 73k primogems, and my back up credit card are ready to go all in for his C6R1.

This is my stance regardless of his kit. He could be reviving enemies for all I care. He will be the second character I C6-ed on release just like I did Wriothesley.

Considering how they avoided giving him any actual feats and cool scenes in main AQ I'd say he won't sell well. The hype is not there, Hoyo didn't built it. They treated such an antiicipated character like that... They could give him at least one cool scene to show off his badassness, but nope. It's story culination and he is still sranding behind curtains.

And now they will make up some irrelevant boring bs in 6.4 for his story (if there is any), mark my words

Male characters do sell well, there’s just an unfortunate stereotype that Genshin playerbase is insecure men who only want lolis and waifu impact.

Most Genshin players are actually pretty cool people who can admire a well-written, cool character, regardless of their gender.

Zhongli, Childe, Flins and Neuvi all did very well.
