It's nice to have a proper timeline for the main story and character quests, also suprised to see that Mizuki's SQ is supposed to be between the Inazuma finale and the Chasm, heck, act 4 or Mondstadt AQ from 5.6 actually plays out between the Fontaine finale and Bedtime Story BEFORE NATLAN!😶

I think it's ok to retrofit those quests in their regions. They're not really that connected to each other. Paralogism could be any time after completing Mond's archon and story quests, I'm not even sure why it's after Fontaine

It's after Fontaine probably because of Mini-Durin who first appeared in Simulanka. Simulanka event quest takes place after Fontaine I think (it has Navia as well). This is why they really should implement replayable events.

Paralogisms continues the Durin Storyline from Simulanka.

The Simulanka event story chronologically happens after the conclusion of the Fontaine Archon Quest (or at the earliest could happen during the Fontaine AQ, since Navia shows up during the Event Story)

IMO It always felt like a mistaken belief to conflate IRL release order with In-Lore chronology.

It always made more sense to use which Archon quest is the latest dependency, to establish some kinda chronology

It is not accurate. It is based on formal quest requirement prerequisites, not the canonical chronological order of things (though it’s still an improvement over what HSR does). For example, Mizuki says in her profile voicelines that she only left Natlan to go back to Inazuma just before the Traveler arrived to the People of the Springs. Therefore, Mizuki’s SQ necessarily has to take place after Natlan Act 1, yet it’s being listed with the Inazuma quests, because it’s only requirement is that you’ve done Raiden SQ2 (and the game isn’t necessarily wrong for that being the only requirement, since you don’t really need any Natlan context for her story). Paralogism is also supposed to happen after Natlan AQ, despite being listed with Fontaine, because they said on the 5.6 livestream that the monster attack on Mondstadt is a direct consequence of what happened in Natlan Act 5. There’s probably other examples like this you can find if you really look into things. Real-life release order is still the most reliable indicator of the canonical timeline we have right now.

In most cases, it's COMPARABLE and accurate enough with some minor nitpicks as you've said.

And it's almost formatted the same way as the Genshin quest-order spreadsheet.

Just the major character quests, sadly no world quests like HSR.

Because some world quests like Chouji and his ore ~~scam~~ happen before certain AQ.

When we get to the domain where we see Hat guy, Paimon says "wait a second..... isn't this the ore we gave to Chouji?!"

It was mentioned that several months passed since the end of the Liyue AQ. They put the Inazuma Prologue after the Interlude despite us meeting Beidou in the Inazuma Prologue for the first time (although both quests have different dialogues if you hasn't met her before, many players noticed that interaction with her still feels weird)

If you start a new account, Shenhe's Interlude does start immediately after Liyue AQ, as weird as that is. I'm agreeing it feels weird (kinda cheapens Ningguang sacrificing Jade Chamber when she rebuilds it immediately afterwards), but it is what is is.

Paralogism also starts just after the Inversion of Genesis, but I'd still recommend the new players to play Fontaine AQ at least to learn about Rhinedottir. Fortunately they put Paralogism after Masquerade of the Guilty in the Travel Log.

Archon Quests always start automatically. That’s part of the reason why people complained about getting locked out of Columbina’s Selenic Chronicles last patch—if you’d already completed Act 4, there was literally no way to avoid Act 5 being active unless you play on mobile and have quest resources put on manual downloads.

When I started playing in 2023, I got the interlude immediately after finishing the archon quest. Not knowing any better, I played it immediately. Got confused by the characters talking about how long it had been, considering that I’d literally just finished the archon quest two minutes ago. So unfortunately this chronology is nothing new : /

They should definitely recommend doing other quests first so that you actually get a sense of time passing.

Skirks story quest definately felt like a follow up to arellechinos and not some random side b plot we did in natlan, story quest always felt life they had a soft time relation to each other while the AQ wrre the ones that changed anysort of status quo.

I could see it being the latter, in that you don't *need* to do any of Natlan to be able to do the Monstadt storyline spoiler-free, so they are saying "this is all you *need* to have done before this point," not necessarily "in canon, here is when it took place."

So THAT'S why Mizuki doesn't catch anything being particularly wrong with traveler; it's early enough in the story that they haven't been worn down to the extent they are in later regions.
