Help my Genshin keeps crashing

My Genshin keeps crashing after the compiling shaders part at exactly 99.46%.
I did clear the cache and restarted the phone and it still crashes.

I can't open my Genshin because of that. Any tips would help.

Is it possible for you to clear its app data, uninstall then install again?

Sorry, it may or may not work. Just one of the steps i’d take for such issues. If you still face the crash then possibly either the device you are running doesn’t have enough graphical and compute power to execute the task or the device is throttling due to overheat. But if the device you are playing is capable of running the game smoothly, try contacting the cs of genshin.

Is it a mobile phone? If yes, is it a PowerVR gpu?

I have the same problem. On a mobile phone. Processor - sd 695. I know this is a low end processor but the game used to run stable 30 fps before update, but it keeps crashing a few seconds after opening now.

Cpuld be the game needing more resources to run now. My phone in 2020 with with a 2019 SS chip was able to run this game decently. Come 2024, it would crash if sent to the background or someone called me.

They were implementing both graphical updates for newer phone chips and graphical downgrades for older ones in version 5.0 to avoid kicking out too many devices.

OP also seems to have a gpu from a 2020 chip but the issue about crashing at compiling shaders should be exclusive to PowerVR gpu devices. They were abandoned by Hoyo way back in version 5 patch.

Never mind, I reinstalled after deleting and it runs fine now
