what’s there to not love?? she’s beautiful inside and out. she’s so gentle yet resilient. even during her worst time she is trying her best, despite being in a weakened state. moreover her love and loyalty towards her friends makes her feel so human, even tho she’s a goddess. i love her smmm she’s so fun to play aswell!

The thing is that she was painted as this ever-so-mysterious figure, so I thought that she was constantly scheming something prior to Nod-Krai. Only for us to find out that even she didn't know who she was or much of what happened around her and thought she would forever be rejected by the world. In a way, seeing her development and vulnerability over these last few quests heals parts of me that also felt like she did in the past, and I love seeing her happy and well because of it. I really didn't expect this twist for her backstory, but it truly is a welcome surprise. She deserves the best life has to offer 🥹

I adore Colombina because she has continually, throughout her story in Tyvat, defied fate and defied expectations. Whether that’s the Frost Moon Scions, the Fatui, fate itself, or even the genshin community!

I adore the way the devs developed her character; at first when I realised she wasn’t going to be the ‘creepy accurate angel’ type, I was afraid she would become a true damsellete -being portrayed like her irl name/character inspiration of the damsellete from the Commedia Dell'arte - a damsel in distress.

But no, I love that her character is so rich and deep and wonderfully written not only in the story but into the whole world of Teyvat. I love that yes, she may be a girl in distress, that’s in dire need of saving, and majority of the time helpless, she isn’t simply that. It not just a pity party when around her.

There is a great strength in her personality, a rightful stubbornness, rich empathy, and cheekiness that adds so much more personality. She actually grows (rare for a genshin character), she realises her past mistakes, she stands up for herself, and she’s willing to sacrifice herself no matter the cost. She is angelic yet derpy at the same time and I love it! I adore her friendship with the other harbingers - she really humanises them - even dottore!

Her design is perfect, with a deceptive simplicity that makes references to Teyvat and real world culture like the nod to biblically accurate angels on her headpiece. Even her connection to doves is incredibly deep! They can symbolise so many parts of life - death, life, even marriage, suiting Bina’s design and story of ‘rebirth’.

I’m unsure how to conclude this, but Genshin has always been about the exploration and world building for me, and Colombina fills those cups till the point they’re overflowing!

I’m so happy she was written like she way she was! I can’t imagine we had a game without her in it.

Columbina was what got me into this game, I joined on flins and that inspired me even more to get columbina. The aura (not brainrot, literary aura) she exudes is majestic and calming. Her animations are gorgeous and unique. And her storyline is beautiful. I enjoy the sentimentality she has for people she cares about and I just love the singing she does too.

Also the Nod Krai main theme from Aurora got me in the mood for a singing character

At the start of Nod Krai chapter, I had very low interest in her as a character and her design, Varka was my favorite (he is still one of the favorite). But as I progressed through the quest, I got to know her better, it felt like knowing a real person. And now I doesn't matter that I don't own a single Nod Krai 5 star unit, but I will definitely pull for her.

The reasons I love her are lowkey simple ^ ^ I mean just look at the details in her design and I feel like, she’s not just there for fanservice, unlike most female characters (yes I am aware that there is still a bit of fanservice in her design included, but just not as much as in others, ykwim? + I don’t think there will be any female character without at least a little bit of fanservice, hoyo is way too money-hungry for that) And her gameplay is absolutely awesome ontop of that :D
