Just finished both archon quest acts.
Not giving spoilers!! It was definitely the most well written, satisfyingly ending to this incredible region. All characters had satisfying story arcs, including the one character, you wouldn't have expected. It's going to be a blast exploring and doing the new world quest.

But it was just a moment, it's not like the entire patch quest held up that quality, it built up to it.
The quests we got this patch blew my damn mind and I thought they were incredible from start to finish in a way this game hasn't really achieved before. The dialog was better than usual and I thought they really hit what they were going for bouncing around all the different POVs
I know it’s extremely unlikely but it would be awesome if Dottore was playable, just a straight up playable villain
She was so anticipated it’s insane, i saw at least 20 people saving for months for her c6 at the time
Same with Alice, Klee won't be her biological daughter probably a clone.
Seems plausible, but I never bothered to check if its true.
Also they could just make some plot magic and turns out that Nahida just erased all of Dottore's evil segments and that a moral and purely good segment exists.
and they put a **lot** of effort to paint Arle in a positive light during drip marketing/story quest
>Also they could just make some plot magic and turns out that Nahida just erased all of Dottore's evil segments and that a moral and purely good segment exists.
Yeah, I genuinely believe they'll pull the "not evil" segment trick one day
Edit: I'm wondering why I'm getting downvoted. I am talking about the truth after all. (dammit i sound like dottore) I know EN is full of narcissistic people that expect the world to revolve around them, but just like the freedom to have guns in society, you need to bear the possibility that one fine day random person might take a gun and shoot you. If a society's consensus is to ban something, (yes i know you freedom fanatics are gonna go: OPPRESSIVE, NO HUMAN RIGHTS blah blah blah), stopping the spread by cutting all exits is a way to prevent more disasters. Some people might say: oh it's just fiction. like i said in a comment, the boundaries of fiction and reality grow thinner as technology advances. Stories are stories, but when people see the story as reality or something that can be done in real life, that's when society is screwed. You're gonna say: "nooooo, I'm a smart and good person. I won't do that. My position is to be nice person in society and i am in the right, society will be better with my opinions." But at that point, when you're scolding someone over the internet, saying your point is right and others are wrong, you're the same as the bad villains with no morals in stories.
It is why we see censorship as well as the countless attempts at silencing the video games media, forcing away certain ideals that they dissagree with,
Phrolova isn’t in GI so not really sure how that’s relevant, and all of the Fatui harbingers that are playable had quasi redemption arcs that brought them to friendship with the traveler and showed that they had a nice side. At worst, they fall in a morally grey area but still establish a relationship with the traveler and they show a nicer side of them.
We have yet to have a playable character that remained a villain after becoming playable and has no familiar ties to the traveler
Imo no character got sidlined this time, they all got really great characterization
And it's not even over yet
Anyways that aside, what's the most acts a nation had before nod-krai? Was it 6?
It’s been steadily increasing over time, Mondstadt Liyue and Inazuma all had 3 acts then Sumeru upped it to 4 or 5 I believe
Really? Aino and Ineffa got like... two moments total
Not to say that's bad but they definitely got sidelined
But aino krum duck jet whatever is name literally carrying lauma, nefer and flins in combat you know lol.
So our precious little engineer saving the world with her burst attached to hydro MC lol
Otherwise yes absolute cinema
now go take a shower, it's been 3 days
I adored amphoreus but that was a lot of talk, Nod-Krai and even Nicole are a pleasant level of Yap->Play ratio
E.g: Who knew black screen plus fire burning plus character standing in a cool pose could keep me that much more engaged.
Nod Krai is like meticulously crafted single player story game that happens to be a gacha too.
These two quests I was glued to the screen, absorbing every single sentence.
Man, it feels good to be a Genshin fan.
All of Sandrones Narzissekreuz/Alain/Rene dialogue must sound like insane schizo rambling
I was NOT paying attention in those side quests sadly...
My best bet is that glitch is a consequence of Dottore tearing apart the fake sky. He may be dead, but that huge move is going to have long lasting effect that the crew will now need to face.
Final fight, involvement of all characters.
It was like a send off, I was feeling "the last quest" vibes the entire time...
Seeing familiar characters again, like Albedo, Durin, Wanderer, and even Dainsleif, as well as Alice and Nicole, made the experience feel richer and more meaningful, especially for long-time players.
1. What the hell did Dottore do to the borders of Teyvat that it took Alice and the rest of the Hexencircle (probably besides Gold I guess) so much effort to repair? Alice has been teased to be near omnipotent but she barely helped during the Archon quest, I really wonder how her abilities compare to those of Dottore at his peak or even the other gods.
2. Ok so they brought the moon inside the false sky but when you go to the moon you seem to be way further away than the barrier has ever seemed to be, I guess it's not necessarily an inconsistency but it's weird since it seemed to be way closer when Mavuika broke it and also earlier when Dottore opened it.
Also it really seems like Teyvat is not a disc as many had theorized before. It already looked like a sphere in Skirk's quest(or trailer, I don't remember) but now from the moon it definitely seems to be a sphere.
