KoF meeting point quest, you can also hear it after the quest at night when they are gathered around a campfire
GodOfTheHerrscher2026-01-20 19:39
When do they gather there though?
UltraPhoenix952026-01-20 19:45
At night, but it's random, I got it 2 times on the 13 times I've checked
GodOfTheHerrscher2026-01-20 19:57
Yeah ok, thx
Agreeable_Chart26442026-01-14 17:15
Knights Templar intensified!
Weaponmaster4702026-01-14 17:20
I expected the scene to be a little state-lier than the gang loitering drunk around a bonfire with barely any armor, somewhat near an Abyssal hotspot, but can't deny it's very Mondstadt lol
Particular_Web32152026-01-14 18:39
Tbf illuga and his lightkeepers are taking the brunt of the abyssal hotspot, but still this is very mondstadt
PidoveEnjoyer2026-01-14 17:23
This was one of my favourite bits about the new map. A true Mondstadter is a jolly drunk even on their way to fight the apocalypse.
leakmydata2026-01-14 18:13
Holy shit I love this. I never would have thought the title screen theme would sound so good as a chant like this.
Fettnaepfchen2026-01-14 18:49
It's a great tune to belt while riding a bicycle!
ItsColorNotColour2026-01-14 18:20
How is this a PSA
Kidkaboom12026-01-15 19:47
Because everyone should listen to it!
_Linkiboy_2026-01-14 18:21
As a German myself, it felt like attack on titan again xD
KitkatMidna2026-01-14 18:39
I love Mondstadt lol. This is very on brand for them.
theRazielim2026-01-14 18:54
As a german, it feels like this is not just sung by germans but also written by a german; well done
AL-KY2026-01-15 04:44
can you tell what are they singing? if you can, please drop the lyric, I really want to know
Anurabis2026-01-15 08:23
Not much I can make out here would probably be better with a cleaner version of the song but one of the lines as the very least is "den die Freiheit ein heiliges Gut." which would translate roughly to "the freedom a holy property." which fits rather well with the Mondstadt philosophy.
Fireparadigm2026-01-15 10:10
I looked up a clean version on youtube and after a few listens i think i got like 99% of the lyrics right.
Darling, come and dance with me in this night
Because we will march into battle for Mondstadt soon
Tomorrow the sword will call me away, tomorrow bravery is needed
Since freedom is a holy good (tl note: good as in a thing)
Darling, come and dance with me under this moon
North and south, for the dandelion our fight is worthwhile
Against tyranny and power, let them be blown away
Our blood new peace we will sow
As the children of wind we were born free
No master they serve, we were chosen
When tyrannical shackles ~~show regret~~ tighten their grip
For freedom and justice we fight
Forward
Rule comes and goes with the tides of time
Eternal it will be, Mondstadt, at winds side
Darling, come and dance with me my last dance
Until the falcon flies in the mornings lustre
Until the falcon flies in the mornings lustre
Theres like 2 or 3 lines im not 100% on but it should be mostly accurate, its also quite authentic to the mondstadt middle age aesthetic, this is a song you could hear at a german ren faire and it would fit in pretty much seamlessly.
Edit: thanks u/MiaSidewinder for the correction on verse 3 line 3
FindingNether2026-01-16 02:18
How to search for the song in yt?
Fireparadigm2026-01-16 02:57
the name is in the title of the post, knights of favonius anthem, i saw one with lyrics but wasnt quite happy with some translations and the guesstimation of what theyre saying so i did my own thing. there was also one that overlays the mondstadt theme with the anthem which was pretty neat to hear.
FindingNether2026-01-16 04:38
Thank you so much, I was doing the quest and was trying to find the song wherever I could because of the familiar melody from mondstadt theme, and this was one of the posts I commented on without properly looking at the title but just reading the comments.
MiaSidewinder2026-01-20 10:33
Thanks so much for the translation! As a German I've also struggled to understand some of it, just because chorus is hard to understand sometimes. (I do think the singers are German, their pronounciation is much better than ... \*cough\* Fischl and Oz .... )
One thing I noticed: "When tyrannical shackles show regret" I think what they're singing is "Wenn tyrannische Fesseln eng sich ziehen", which I'd translate to "When tyrannical shackles tighten their grip"
Fireparadigm2026-01-20 15:37
you know what, i think you are absolutely right about the "eng sich ziehen", i heard something closer to "einsicht sehen" which i translated a little liberally but your version makes much more sense especially with the following line.
Guilty_Specialist_492026-01-14 19:42
oh my god i love this!!!
LazyNatLikesSky2026-01-14 19:47
Yeahhh
minah_alt2026-01-14 19:57
I absolutely loved this, the knights drunk around the fire, Varka watching over them, it felt very Mondstat :')
XascoAlkhortu2026-01-14 20:00
Reminds me a little of Palästinalied. I wish they added this in Mondstadt too
Nameless492026-01-14 20:18
This feels like the song you hear in Sovngarde in Skyrim
thatguyfromwhiterun2026-01-14 20:26
For anyone wondering, the singers have an accent so it's not sung by germans. But they do a very good job. You can hear they had specific training on how to pronounce certain things. The Attack on titan ost's for example are way harder to understand
Zephrias2026-01-16 00:50
Ngl, some of it sounds like actual native dialects you can find in Germany, some of it reminded me of Austrian German
LunaAncunin2026-01-14 20:41
I loved that moment; Hoyo is really very careful with his music.
Magpie_03092026-01-14 21:44
I'm german but I'm having a hard time understanding what they are singing tbh. Can anyone who understands more post the text?
Solranius2026-01-14 22:23
*Verse 1*
not from me but i think its very close, found it here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad9BKOXxrk0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad9BKOXxrk0)

Honestly this is very well put together, and the pronunciation was surprisingly good. One of my biggest issues with translated songs is that the prosody of the line in that language just doesn't fit the rhythm of the melody, which makes it sound - for lack of a better word - shite.
There are only two bits in this song that stood out to me as ill-fitting:
> Unser('m) Blut, neu'n Frieden wir sähen/sehen?
which I might suggest re-pacing as
> Unser('m) Blut, neuen Frieden wir säh'n/seh'n?
and
> Wenn tyrannische Fesseln, Einsicht sehen/ziehen
which I'm less sure of how to fix - my main issue is that it overstresses the final -en... maybe something like
> Wenn tyrannische Fesseln, uns Einsicht gewähr'n
... either way I think it needs to be an unstressed sound ("-sicht" is stressed, but "ge-" is unstressed) followed by the stressed truncated "-'n" for it to work
Curious what others might think.

I cant wait for this weekend! I want to vibe with them!
LupusCairo2026-01-15 00:23
The medieval feel of this is really cool. Especially since we already got some real life language singing for other regions now, it's nice they did it for Mondstadt as well. It will be weird to suddenly hear my mother tongue when everything is always English tho.
Luna_MariaHawke2026-01-15 07:53
Same. Switching back to german is hard for me too since I´m more used to english now xD
PascalGoester2026-01-15 02:59
Here are the German lyrics I, with the help of others, could make out and the attempted English translation in brackets. They sing in an accent, so it sometimes is very hard to understand and the grammar is a bit off sometimes as well, so forgive me if it's a little rough/not entirely clear:
*Verse 1*
**Liebling, komm und tanz' mit mir in dieser Nacht** (Darling, come and dance with me on this night)
**Denn wir ziehen für Mondstadt gar bald in die Schlacht** (Because we'll may even soon set out for Mondstadt into battle)
**Morgen ruft das Schwert mich fort, morgen braucht's Mut** (Tomorrow the sword calls me away, tomorrow courage is needed)
**Doch ist Freiheit ein heiliges Gut** (Yet/Even so freedom is a holy blessing)
*Verse 2*
**Liebling, komm und tanz' mit mir unter dem Mond** (Darling, come and dance with me under the moon)
**Nord und Süd, für Löwenzahn, unser Kampf lohnt?** (For dandelion, north and south reward our battle/North and south, for dandelion our battle is worth it)?
**Gegen Tyrannei und Macht/Nacht, lass sie verwehen/lass Liebe/Lieder wehen?** (Against tyranny and power/night, let them be blown away or let love/song blow)?
**Unser('m) Blut, neu'n Frieden wir sähen/sehen?** ((With) Our blood, new freedom we sow/see)?
*Verse 3*
**Als die Kinder des Windes, wurd' frei geboren** (As the children of the wind, we were born free)
**Keinem Herrn sie zu Dienst, wir/wie erkoren?** (No lord they have to oblige to, we appoint/as if they were appointed)? ~~-~~ *~~I think I can hear "sie zu Dienst" and "erkoren", but not sure about "Keinem Herrn"~~* ~~-~~
**Wenn tyrannische Fesseln, eng sich ziehen** (When tyrannical shackles tighten)
**Für die Freiheit und Recht kämpfen wir** (For freedom and justice we fight)
*Verse 4*
**Vorwärts, Herrschaft kommt und geht, mit den Fluten der Zeit** (Onwards, dominion comes and goes with the tides of time)
**Ewig wird es sein, Mondstadt, an Himmels/Windes Seit'** (Eternal it will be, Mondstadt, by sky's/wind's side)
*Verse 5*
**Liebling, komm und tanz' mit mir, den letzten Tanz** (Darling, come and dance with me the last dance)
**Bis der Falke fliegt, im Morgenglaaanz** (Until the falcon flies, in morning shine)
**Bis der Falke fliegt, im Morgen-glaaanz** (Until the falcon flies, in morning-shiiine)
Zonnebloempje2026-01-15 10:48
And after you talked to Varka, he joins them and hums along as well! He's so much fun!!
DerUlukai2026-01-15 21:12
This is honestly beyond cool. The Song really fits the Knights and the medival theme.
Zephrias2026-01-16 00:46
The song is so well done, it made me really happy to hear a song in my language in Genshin
False-Ad-86802026-01-16 06:10
I hope this will be added to the next Nod-Krai OST
SavageMasterKYH2026-01-16 08:42
Was so pleased to hear this. Feels like I could sit there hearing them sing for hours.
(free game btw)

The new Nod-Krai update is genshin Peak so far tbh, and im biased towards Fontaine and Inazuma

Latin lyrics in game: Powerful beings, ancient forces, or something associated with them
Swahili lyrics in game: The spirits of Natlan
French lyrics in game: The last performance of Furina the goddess, and the first performance of Furina the human
German lyrics in game: a bunch of drunken knights
A_Complete_Nerd2026-01-18 03:52
I wonder if the game will have us revisit Inazuma like this and hear people singing a Japanese folk song
or maybe in the future there could be a big festival in Sumeru with people singing in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Turkish or some other language
Or what if there's a redo of Moon-Prayer Night with people singing in Finnish or something? (since a lot of the names for stuff in Nod-Krai are derived from Finnish)
paincakeyui2026-01-19 17:19
When does this happen? After archon quest or when? Cause everytime i went there they didnt sing. I have all areas to 100%
Brilliant-Shock53362026-01-19 21:47
knights of favonius meeting point quest after you helped varka transport that wine barrel, you probably missed it :/
paincakeyui2026-01-19 21:48
Ah man thats sad :( thank you
Scavenger97LP2026-01-19 20:12
Is there any way to get them to sing again after the bonfire is gone ? Im so sad :(
