With Mona now being my 4th loss after Lauma and Nefer and Arlecchino and now Coloumbina, when will I get radiance to save me from my unluckiness?

you lost 4 times in a row?
capturing radiance triggers after your third loss so I'm a bit confused here
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 17:33
well yeah. I lost four times now. that's why I got confused about it not triggering.
bastianwibisana2026-01-14 17:33
prove it
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 17:34
sure ill go launch game in a sec
bastianwibisana2026-01-14 17:40
just confirm the following
check your history, if it is (from most recent): mona -> limited -> permanent -> limited -> permanent -> limited -> permanent, then you can sue hoyo
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 17:44
it goes Mona => Durin => Diluc => Nefer => qiqi=> lauma => Dehya : Chasca c2 and citlali

I'm pretty sure if you win 2 50/50 in a row then it takes 4 losses for radiance instead of the usual 3 so it should be guaranteed next time
3 loses would already be the maximum after winning twice
WussssPoppinJimbo2026-01-15 00:56
Oh my bad, thought the counter could reach 4 rather than 3.

~~the "can't lose more than 3 times" is not a rule hoyo set. It's what the community has concluded after millions of tries. The mechanism might vary ever so slighty.~~
~~What if after 3 consecutive wins you actually can lose 4 times?~~
Edit: 3 is max, I forgot that info is stated in the game
bastianwibisana2026-01-15 01:36
you cant. im quoting here from the in-game detail page on limited banner:
If the promotional 5-star character is the second 5-star character obtained on three consecutive occasions, then "Capturing Radiance" mechanic is guaranteed to be triggered when the next 5-star character is obtained.
we're not stupid. the data just proves what the game says.
ceos_ploi2026-01-15 01:43
ah, you're right. I mixed that up with something
bastianwibisana2026-01-15 01:45
i personally dont trust OP and hoyo never makes this kind of silly mistake even after a big patch update... unless OP posts a video showing them scrolling through their history page
ceos_ploi2026-01-15 01:49
they haven't posted their actual history yet, which is an easy enough task to do, honestly. So it's likely that they are mistaken, yes
getratioed_2026-01-14 17:37
did you pull after Arlecchino?
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 17:39
I got durin after her lose to diluc
getratioed_2026-01-14 17:44
yeah I would email Hoyo and let them know. it should've triggered during Columbina's banner
ceos_ploi2026-01-14 17:34
did you win any 50/50 in between those? check your wish history, all the pulls of that time frame should still be visible
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 17:36
nope. I only got an early 40 pity from the arlecchino guarantee on durin banner
lostiming2026-01-14 18:25
Just to confirm, all of those 4 standard 5 stars are from limited character banners right? None from the standard, novice or chronicle (the regional one with multiple limited 5 stars) right?
Dreameristaken2026-01-14 18:27
I just checked apparently some said if u win on chronicle banner ur radiance gets reset but I'm just gonna to double check with officials. all were on character banner yes.
