SO DO WE WANT A SKIP BUTTON OR NAH?!
I'm getting quite irritated by the fact that people are arguing over this matter, almost every gacha game is gonna get a skip button and yet Genshin doens't have one yet, and I don't think they will add because it's too late, I mean darn why would they add a skip button when the game is coming to a end within a year or two?!
Those who don't want a skip button always say stuff like "read the lore bozo," or "you just want to skip because you can't read lmao" or " uninstall the game if you don't want to read since it's a lore game" istg some just don't understand NOT EVERYONE IS A LORE READER
Some just want to casually enjoy the game while playing the main story thats how it usaully goes, some just want to play for the action, some just want to explore the region since it’s a pretty big open-world game, and yessss some people who are lore readers just want to learn everything about the game, now no shade to those who are lore readers, I’m just not a big fan of people defending to not have a skip button like come on man why do other games have skip button? It because THEY RESPECT THE PLAYERS WISHES.
I see some people are cheesed over the fact that Genshin hasn’t resolved the “auto-starting world quests” like bruh I wanted to xplore the map a bit before diving into the archon quest and I get INTERUPPTED by some random quest shoved up my ah because apparently the devs want to you to play the world quest by forcing you to read non-skippable dialogue which is just rage baiting, and having to deal with the fact that I have explored 100% in other gacha game says alot, *all you gotta make the world quests available at your request so you can play it anytime,* you aint gotta force it down like that bruh,

Personally I don't give af whether you or anyone else reads or not, do whatever you want. However, I know myself, if I need the primos I'll totally skip everything to get them quickly and then I'll regret it.
I mean, that's the real reason behind the disagreement.
A complete lack of basic empathy. Or rather, only having empathy for people like themselves. Being fanboys.
Anytime someone brings up a post showing some combat main berating someone that they aren't being meta enough with their pulls and teambuilding, this subreddit loves to pile on about how awful that behaviour is, and they should just let people play the way they want.
That same subreddit has no problem telling anyone who openly says they don't give a shit about story or lore, and would just like to skip everything, that they should just quit because Genshin is clearly not the game for them.
Options are options. You don't have to use it at the end of the day.
